★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Goats are still on the roof as of October 20 2021!! This is an amazing place. Has everything you need and more. From groceries, snacks, ethnic seasoning, deli, hot food to toys, garden supplies, kitchen supplies, decor, rugs, and even origami paper. Can easily spend a whole hour here! Definitely check it out

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Such a fun market to walk through with some unique items for sale. Seeing the goats on the roof was really neat! There are other stores and restaurants behind the Old County Market that are quite impressive and so worth checking out. The whole area is really neat and such a fun way to spend an afternoon! ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a bit like an Ikea but with an international assortment of curated foodstuffs (local and imports), decorative goods, toys, baked goods, housewares, and more.
Notable selection of Italian and mexican foodstuffs, from non-perishable to fresh goods (cheese, charcuterie) And fun home decor goods: string lights and miniature architectural models (see photos)
It can get a bit crowded on weekends.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Didn't see any goats on roofs when I went unfortunately but did find 2 in a back pen! Even goatless it was a beautiful place to visit. Found so many fun souvenirs to bring home with me. Spent many hours just exploring all the shops in the area

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great shops with unique products. Excellent selections at the deli including smoked salmon and various jerky products. Plenty of parking and a great place to get out and stretch being about half way between Victoria and Tofino right along the route.

The store is absolutely beautiful and carries everything. It's a Market! LOL
You can get candied salmon here! Yep!
BEST Souvenirs too..
But gift shop too, definitely! Need to get something unique for the special someone check this Market out!
Ok .. now the Goats on the Roof! That is awesome! Mark this spot on your road trip adventures you will not be disappointed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just clicked the pics of food. Loved the place and the ambience. Bought amazing veggies and Donuts. Wild Honey was really amazing and so was the Apricot Syrup from the Grocery place. Mushroom was super economical as 99 cents and Mango was freshly picked. Amazing sweet potatoes too. Donuts were really good and the best I've had forever.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is high quality all around. Not tacky tourism. The goats hanging out on the roof are awesome!!! The fruit store, garden centre, skateboard shop, and restaurants in the back are all really good stores to peruse about. Very impressed. The owners did this architecturally right all the way.
