n	nrow0115 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Much better coffee cup situation than the neighbouring old country market. Combs cafe provided me with a sleeve for my cup. Strange sculptures inside and out.

Public Health Violation -- this place is one giant health violation and should be shut down immediately!! -- -- Eat here at your own risk --- I personally witnessed one of the restaurant employees try some kind of 'sauce' by sticking her finger into it and licking her finger and then proceeding to carry on serving the food she had just stuck her finger in! ( This was seen after we had ordered and, 30min later when our "fast" food still wasn't ready, went to complain)

Lady behind the counter was rude to multiple people, did not wash her hands in between serving orders either. She stuck her whole face and body into scooping out the ice cream from the tub and let her hair fall in. Disgusting. Multiple eye rolls from lady. Horrible service.
C	Claire Wright on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This establishment currently does not allow for safe social distancing. We went mid week in July, so summer weekends are likely to be worse. Many people in line were not distancing or wearing masks and no employees are monitoring the chaos. Some picnic tables outside are less than 2 feet from each other and all tables were full. They need to block off some tables as not usable to enforce social distancing. They also need to reorganize the line system inside to ensure that people know whether they are lining up for icecream or hot food. The lack of clarity in the line system further worsens the lack of social distancing. If you are choosing to keep yourself, your bubble and your community safe, then you should consider skipping the Coombs shops this summer. If you do go, definitely skip this establishment.
G	Great Person on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had high expectations with this place as the adjoining store has such good product and bakery. I got the turkey pannini with cranberry sauce. It was gross, and was made with dry brown turkey meat, I couldn't eat it and no server came around to see how things were going so I could tell them I didn't like it. Or ask for more mayo to make it less dry. But with that said, their tortilla soup was good, their fries were super good and my husband enjoyed his burger. The service was not good, our server never came around after dropping off the food and we sat and waited too long for someone to come around and clear our plates and bring the bill. When the server did finally come around she smelled of cigarette smoke, I guess that is where she was. I also didn't like how the tip percentage options started at 18%, 20 and 22. I am aware we can plug in our own amount, it was my first time seeing such high suggestions, it was off putting. We will not be back for the cafe but for the store items only.

I understand why, after talking to the owner, but still it doesn't excuse the quality of service and food. The pogo was precooked but never cooked. The hotdog in the middle was white and the whole thing was cold. The kids burger were rock hard, probably there for a long while. My salmon burger was fine. Fries were cold. The while place was a mess and needed to be cleaned badly. The person told me that they were really short on staff, that's why there was poor service and food. While I was there they had to refund 3 people. Long long lines. I personally think they should of closed down til they had the proper staff. Families could of gotten food poisoning. With some work they could be a really good place.
F	Fang Zhou on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The worst place i have every been. Awful awful service here! I came here on Aug 6th 2017. Ordered their burger. Hot dog. Onion rings and poutine. First the Asian old man took my order and using his hand calculated the total price. And he over charged us $6! And when we asked him he said he thought we ordered burger and hotdog with fries, which we did not. After they served the food. Hotdog was missing, so i went back asking for my hotdog, a service lady with a glasses coucasion gived me a duty look and yell at me : "what!" I mean seriously? What the ... When they finally gived me the hotdog which was 20mins later, they gave me a regular samll one, and we ordered a foot long. I hate this place and I mean it! And never comeback again.
