★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We stop here every time we are in Coombs. We are never disappointed! There is a huge selection of books on every topic you could imagine. The kids section is amazing but just as much great stuff for adults. We all feel like treasure hunters!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This book store is more than I could have ever expected. It’s full to the brim with so many books, books that I haven’t seen in so long, first editions and more. I have never spent so much time in a book store, I could have stayed there for hours. I highly recommend making a stop here!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Its cozy for sure. There's hardly room to turn around in this store. Forget social distancing if you think of entering. I reckon they have an inventory problem and should sell a few books before acquiring any more. That said they have a lot of books. A very large selection. Staff sounded friendly. Also have some comics. Prices are set at 50% of book cover price.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Possibly the last really good used bookstore on Vancouver Island. One of those barely organized, rambling stores with a lot of twists and turns to the shelves, books stacked on front of other books, the obscure mixed with the common. A pleasure to browse, the eye constantly lighting on yet another possible treasure as you turn each corner. Thongor the Barbarian by Lin Carter? Check. Lysistrata by Aristophanes? Check. And the prices are firmly at the low end the spectrum, which means you don't have to make hard decisions between Thongor and Lysistrata

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An amazing place. I got there at 9 am sharp and was warmly welcomed inside. I’ve never seen such a large number of books arrayed on, around, and in front of dozens upon dozens of bookcases! A bibliophile’s dream come true. I could have spent the whole day there. Probably the biggest stock of used books on Vancouver Island.
