★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just came home from viewing some excellent singing artists on stage for Country Night at Peachfest. Great venue, great artists, good music, lots of mini-donuts, french fries, iced capps, ice cream, tacos and... well, you get the picture by now. Lots of boats pulled up on shore of Okanagan Lake listening to the music. Lots more people sprawled on the grass or lounging on lawn chairs (like we did). Four days of the best entertainment, all free. Nothing else like it in Canada.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful spot. Some nice beach with good sized green space behind. Penticton Creek trail starts here which is a great walk for 6 km round trip if you want to go that far!. There is also a fenced off dog beach where you can take your furbaby for a swim.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The scenery is unforgettable. Unfortunately the city needs to do a massive clean up of the glass at the dog park at the beach. Be very weary.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Okanagan Lake Park is located on Lakeshore Drive, on the shores of Okanagan Lake and near the downtown. It’s a beautiful park with large grassy area, variety of trees and many benches along the path. An amazing place for people of all ages, very well kept, clean with beautiful sandy beach. Walk path is nice and wide, interesting artwork along the path, good signage. Lovely views and lots of shade on a hot day. Dog friendly.
