The exercises that Marina assigned to me have definitely made a difference. My shoulders are stronger, so able to do things without shoulder pain and no headache. Yippee!

Marina White has treated me for a damaged shoulder injury from a fall. I have found her to be an exceptionally positive and encouraging therapist who is careful to listen to you to determine the exact nature of what you are feeling and where. She follows through with therapies to reduce the pain and hasten healing in her office and sends you home with appropriate exercises complete with access to videos to make sure you are doing them correctly...after having demonstrated them first with you in her office. Then she follows up with queries about your progress. She is warmly friendly, has a knack for making you feel comfortable and is knowledgeable about what is going on in your body that needs treatment...the where and the why. I have no hesitation about recommending her services to anyone in need.

Marina has helped me with knee pain while skiing, and my deadlift/squat training. She's incredibly knowledgeable, and cares deeply for her clients - no one is ever just a patient to her. 100% recommend her!

I was aware of Okanagan Athletic Therapy because they are located in my gym, Global Fitness. I did not have reason to contact them until I developed knee pain while on an extended vacation in the US. It affected my ability to run and I had a bad experience running a half marathon due to the knee pain flaring up. I was planning on joining a trail running clinic and training for some 25 K trail races when I returned to Canada, and I was worried about being able to participate due to the knee pain. While in the US, I had little access to care except for massage therapy. Because I have had a successful experience with athletic therapy in the past, I contacted Marina White at Okanagan Athletic Therapy to arrange an assessment when I returned. We set up an exercise program, which was reviewed and revised as I progressed. Marina also recommended I have x-rays done to rule out osteoarthritis as a factor. By being diligent with my exercise program I was able to run a 25K trail race in the mountains with no knee pain or other pain and set a personal best time!

I have been utilizing the services of Marina White for approximately 6 months . I came to her practice for help in resolving muscle and mobility issues in my legs which are related to several ongoing physical situations, namely two hip replacements, equinous feet and osteoarthritis in the lower back. Marina understands as I do that there are certain limitations in a 68 year old body and works closely with me in providing therapy and exercise routines that have been working effectively on muscle areas that require attention for improvement of strength, motion and balance. Over the past several months I have experienced very good progress in all areas of focus. In summary her approach is personalized, pragmatic and most of all friendly and fun.

I've been using Marina's athletic therapy services within Global Gym and would highly recommend! She is very personable & knowledgeable, I was offered many helpful tips, stretches & exercises to help strengthen my body and minimize pain. Initial treatment was due to discomfort during skiing & other activities from knee pain, over the past several months we have been focusing on strengthening the thigh and leg muscles surrounding the knee as well as various stretches. The discomfort in my knee since I've started has been greatly reduced & I'm able to go about my activities without being limited!
