Chris helped me with each step of the process and quickly replied to my emails. He kept me updated on my file and answered all of my questions. I felt heard and supported along the way. I am very thankful for Chris’s help and that I feel he went above and beyond to be helpful. I think it is important to highlight individuals that take pride in their job and do it well. It is nice to know that I can count on my local government for help.

After almost 5 weeks of waiting for a reply on an email which was important in nature and factually had grounds for review and consideration, silence is all we could get. Jan 2022 update: After posting the original rating here and upon reviewing the email exchanges with her office staff, Ms. Damoff got back to us in early Mar 2021. In the end, neither Public Health Canada (the owner of the requested info on a certain decision which greatly impacted us) nor the MP's office got back with an answer for our specific ask.

Not only did they respond the next day ( my request was sent late at night), the office staff reached out and requested for some details. After I shared the requested information, within hours they reverted advising that they were going to contact IRCC. Within 10 days the PR cards were delivered by mail. A big thanks ?

Please hire better case workers and help people for which you are MP for. Your people represent you. So please ask them to hear us out. Really disappointed so far,
A	Andrea L on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As a Canadian Citizen, I am disappointed by this MP and her staff lacking the ability to help. My husband applied for citizenship in October 2020, passed his test in early December 2021 and still has not been contacted for his ceremony. He had no errors or changes to his application. Our neighbour applied in December 2020 and completed the entire process, including getting his passpoet in November 2021. When we asked Pam about this she said not to compare ourselves to others. How could we not? We have no way of contacting CIC as they don't answer calls, they don't respond to emails, and Pam told us to wait. For how long? I see that a recent post left by another individual showed Pam stepping in to get their PR Card delivered after waiting for 4 months. It seems to me that Pam picks and chooses who and how she wants to help, and doesn't treat individuals equally. She gives you a political buttered up answer that doesn't really help you out at all. She has now lost my vote in the next federal election.
