I'm from Ajax and I travel all they way to oshawa to buy what I need to cook. I love the customer service, the place is really clean and organize especially in the pandemic. I buy all my meat here like goat, oxtail and fish what ever I need and it alwaya turn out nice after cooking them I never had an issue with there meat yet. They have a carribean market in ajax but it there fish isnt really good like i always have a issue with the fish tasting bitter after cooking it. Go check out Ocho Rios West Indian groceries you won't be disappointed

I’m here for the products not smiling faces. They have everything you’re looking for hands down. If you know what you want, it’s there. Never had a bad experience in 5 years.

Honestly I would not go to this place again. I walk in sanitize my hands and begin to browse to see what they have as selection. The employees follow me around like I am trying to steal stuff meanwhile there’s a camera on every row. They also inform me I am not allowed to look around because of Covid guidelines. I sanitized my hands and have a mask on. Honestly rude customer service worst store I’ve been too.

I Wish they was a ZERO to rate this store ... HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER !!! I wonder how she still in business. The Owner act as if we are begging for food!! The sad part is she has even trained her employees to be RUDE too ... Yesterday I went into this store to get some stuff I needed. the employee rudely told me to use the hand Sanitizer they have ... I told the employee that I will use my own instead.. I used it in front of the lady ... The employee calls the owner ( HER BOSS) OMG she was yelling at me on the phone like I was a little child . I asked them why cant I use mine??? she was not even listening to me . Yelling at me as if I was shoplifting .I was in SHOCK !!!! I go to big stores I never been treated like that . this is not the first time I am getting yelled at by the owner OR the Stuff! but I always say to myself let me give her another chance . But yesterday was the limit . I left and I didn't buy any food so she will rather loose $200 and be rude to customers . WHY even have a store if you wont Serve ? We black ppl should learn customer service from big stores this is why they have succeeded . The funny thing is the owner is a "Christian" I don't know what Kind of God she prays ! So I said to myself I will NEVER EVER GO BACK to the Store again I will rather go to the ppl who respect me .

Entered the store for the first time to check it out. The lady over there just screamed at me β€œHELLO PLEASE SANITISE YOUR HANDS” very loudly. Like I get it I will do that but why you have to be rude about it? It’s not like I am an animal or something that you can talk to me like that. I just left right away cuz I didn’t feel comfortable. Forget it I am not buying from here :)

We visit this store weekly. I have experienced the "EXCUSE ME-SANITIZE YOUR HANDS" quite a few times too! As mentiined in many of rhe reviews. Usually my husband will around midday on a Thursday as he knows they get their delivery of fresh roti(Dhal Pourie), most times its not in yet-so I get the call to stop on my way home to pick up. Today I was told by the girl working that I could only buy the ones in the fridge. As in-the old stock. I told her we xome in each week on Thursday to pick up fresh rotis. She said "well, you can only have the ones in fridge and I can't put the new ones out until these are gone" That was my last straw. We spend a minimum $60 a week. Each time I am there I am astounded by the level of unprofessional service I have witnessed each week, the slowness at the cash-even when I am the only one in the store. I feel like everytime they ring an item in-they question the price-like, either I have changed the price tag, they have gone and looked at the item on the shelf or staff have made a mistake. For me-I feel sorry that people run their business like a 3rd world country. For my husband, being West Indian-he says "it embarasses him for "his people" in this day and age. That was my last trip to this store. There are others in Oshawa that sell Norman Sue Rotis.

I am glad that I read these reviews because I truly thought it was only me. I will echo that the customer service is poor, although their inventory is second to none in my experience. My advice to the management of this establishment and it's subordinates would be you get what you give in this life, including your thoughts and energy. It seems they forgot the golden rule! Unfortunate, but just smile and wish that poor lady a nice day
