★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Booked a trip 6 months ago for a destination wedding with cancelation insurance. Still trying to get the money that is owed to me, back from this place. I keep getting passed from sales to accounting etc. don’t waste your time. Find a place that can actually manage their business and won’t take interest free loans from their clients.

My most recent family vacation to Cuba unfortunately ended with a lot of stress and uncertainty due to my family having to quarantine offsite from the resort due to covid- Carol was amazing !! she called us daily for updates , advocated with sun-wing reps, hotel reps and the Canadian embassy in cuba to expedite our safe return to Canada. Her involvement from start to finish and great sense of humour eased my worries as I was confident she was looking out for my family and I. No online booking agency will ever give you this type of quality and professional service as provided by Carol at Breakaway Travel. Not only is the customer service excellent but the prices are unbeatable! I highly recommend Carol and her staff at Breakaway Travel Oshawa for all your travel needs. You are always guaranteed the reassurance of a live , friendly and knowledgeable agent you can depend on even in the most dire situation in another country ! With professional guidance from Terri at Breakaway Travel, I understood what to expect when traveling and she insured I was educated on exactly what I needed to enter each country and return home. Her travel experience and advice are priceless. Terri is based in Oshawa but is so “travel wise” she has clients from all over Ontario. I could not recommend Terri enough and would never travel without utilizing the services of Breakaway Travel.

I know that without Laurie and Jos help my vacation would be chaos. It really feels great knowing that we have found such a nice travel agency to take away some of the travel planing stress.

They always follow up with issues or questions and make great recommendations. all their staff are hard-working and I have never been left disappointed with this company. I strongly recommend using a travel agency for your vacation plans because they do most of the work if not all of the work for you. No extra charge for their impeccable service.
