C	Christina Chong on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was just at the studio after turning up for a Reiki session at 7pm with Denise but after 10 minutes Denise didn’t turn up. I was given very little assistance from the yoga teacher there but told nevertheless to call Nicole (the studio manager) - who I then saw had emailed me (at 6pm) asking if I had Co-ordinated the reiki session with Denise. I had not been told that that was what I had to do in my confirmation email and even if it had been, an email at 6pm is a bit late to be telling me to do that. After speaking with Nicole, she tried to blame the mishap on me as she had already 'emailed me about it'. When I pointed out that she had only sent the email 1 hour ago she blamed the fact that I had booked at too short notice (I booked on the Tuesday afternoon so she had had over 48 hours) so therefore she had missed/didn't have time for organising it with Denise - also confirming it wasn’t my job to contact Denise. Nicole offered a refund or credit and still didn’t apologise for her ineptitude, and the fact I had traveled an hour to the studio. I asked if there was an apology and she finally apologised admitting it was her mistake and then as I was asking about how/when I would be refunded she put the phone down on me. This is extremely unprofessional behaviour and appalling service. Megan the yoga teacher did however apologise on behalf of the studio, even though it was nothing to do with her. I hope to receive my refund promptly but obviously I won't be going back to this studio.

M	Mitali Suri on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Easily one of my favourite yoga studios in downtown Toronto. It has a very cozy feel to it and doesn’t fall to the large studio culture noticed across downtown. The teachers are warm and encouraging. Everything about this place is welcoming and receptive.

I came across this beautiful studio about a month ago and it's brought me back to my practice in the best possible way and at the best possible time. This space is a powerhouse of women who possess the energy, love, and compassion that we all need more of. I haven't practiced with all the teachers as yet, but Jade, Jia, Janelle, and Sonya - y'all are killing it.
V	Vlad Dascalu on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I've been trying out various yoga classes looking for something that actually embodied the whole practice of 'what is yoga' beyond the exercise and nothing has compared to the class I had with Sierra - a true master of the craft. 1. The pace of the class and asanas allow for a deeper intention with each breathe and pose 2. Her words hold weight dragging your mind off its grip and into the moment - which is a refreshing considering the fluff often found in this space 3. With tenderness she educates and challenges you to go places you haven't been 4. The breathwork is intense - the kind that if pushed takes you into a full body vibration and altered state Overall the experience was raw, deep and profound. These humans are doing something special and working towards the essence of what this type of discipline was intended for by helping you develop that practice within yourself.

I've been to many yoga studios in Toronto and while each one has something unique and special to offer, Oblong really struck a chord with me the most.
A	Assia Merazi on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Oblong Yoga House is honestly a gem. I attended the Aerial Yoga - Deep Stretch + Reiki with Angelica and I felt transformed. The space is so cozy and welcoming. It's just calming with such warm positive vibes. The studio is beautiful and Angelica was very patient and helpful. I haven't done Aerial yoga in years and she was the perfect person to start with again. Thank you for the wonderful experience! I can't wait to do more classes.
