My daughter Laura had her wisdom teeth removed a few weeks back and Dr. Higashi and his entire team were an absolute pleasure. They were very professional, ensured that my daughter and I were well informed prior to her surgery and the follow-up was amazing. I would highly recommend Dr. Higashi and I know for certain that my daughter Anna will be visiting him in the near future for consultation regarding her wisdom teeth. Thank-you Dr. Higashi!

He even called a few hours after the procedure to check on me. Very professional and caring. Would recommend to anyone I know.

He made the experience so easy, and he really cared about the well being of myself, and my mom who brought me to the surgery. The nurses in his office were great and really made me feel comfortable, and overall the experience was seamless. The anesthesiologist was also really funny and although I was super nervous to go under, he made me feel very calm. Dr. Higashi personally called my mom on Friday night post-surgery to check in and make sure I was doing okay, and his office has called me multiple times to check in as well. Now, 5 days post-surgery my mouth isn't swollen at all, and I am experiencing very minimal pain. I would 10/10 recommend everyone to get their wisdom teeth removed with Dr. Higashi - great man and great doctor!
F	Fei Gao on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dr. Shawn Higashi and his team are highly trained professionals and supportive. Help reduce pain and discomfort for patients. He extracted 4 of my wisdom teeth under general anesthesia, two of them are impacted and come in at an awkward angle. The procedure took about 30 minutes, and I hardly had any discomfort after it, experienced mild to manageable pain and swelling during the first 72 hours, then pain went away gradually. This experience is beyond my expectation. The post-op care is excellent as well, the nurse prepared me gel ice packs with stretch wrap, a pack of gauze just right to stop bleeding, electrolytes drink, paper post-op instructions and follow-up calls.

They're extremely professional, well educated and explained everything to me very clearly. All my paperwork clearly shows what I'm paying for. I would highly recommend doctor Higashi and his lovely nurses to anybody needing dental surgery. Thank you all so much for making my surgery a breeze I appreciate the efforts to calm be down and assuring me that everything was going to be okay. Everything was okay! I also appreciate that the staff waited for my mother and filled her in on everything. Also everybody here has a great sense of humor so it was easy to talk to them which was a bonus! I am on low income benefits (many of us are since the collapse of the oil and gas industry) and this surgeon wants to charge me $250 for a consultation fee over and above what Alberta Health Care and my benefits cover. I cannot afford $250 which is why I qualify for low income benefits. I find this to be outrageous (especially in this economy) as this is a necessary medical procedure!
