About Luna Dental
Why Luna Dental NW?
A few summers ago, I was travelling in Italy and we visited an island near Venice called Burano, which is known for beautiful lace making. I walked into a small lace shop and noticed an elderly lady seated and making the lace by hand. As I watched in fascination while she worked, her daughter told me her name was Bruna and she spoke no English.
Bruna asked what my name was. I told her my name is Chandni, which she could not pronounce correctly after several tries. She asked her daughter to translate what my name meant instead. I told her Chandni means moonlight in Hindi. She was very excited to call me Luna, which is Italian for moon! Not only did I buy a beautiful lace dress she had made by hand, but I left her shop with the idea to name my office Luna Dental!
Luna Dental Northwest is located in the Northland Professional Centre – just across from Northland Village Mall (down at the Walmart across from Northland Volkswagen) – just off Northland Drive at Crowchild Trail NW. Our office is located on the 3rd floor of the Northland Professional Centre. Simply exit the elevator to your right and turn left again. Our NW Calgary Dental Clinic is located close to the neighborhoods of Brentwood, Charleswood, Dalhousie, Edgemont, Hamptons, and Varsity.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you're looking for a dental office who cares about your well-being, and treats you with respect and kindness, then you want to come here! I have come here for a few different procedures including cleaning, fillings, extractions and even a bone grafting. I will be coming back soon to complete the rest of my long process for molar implants.
The crew here is awesome and super friendly, and they always make me feel comfortable with every visit. I used to feel a bit uneasy with a new dentist, but I've always felt I was in good hands with the ladies here.
The office is clean and inviting, and has a pretty nice view out the window when sitting in the chair. I really appreciate the relaxed setting here which helps when I am about to get poked with freezing!
All in all, I felt like sharing with the world my appreciation for this dental office and the people inside. They have gone far above and beyond to help a guy like me out, and I will always keep supporting those who deserve it!
I highly recommend Luna Dental in Calgary!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I would recommend Dr. Parekh to anyone looking for great dental care. I have been going to see her for about a year now with my family, ever since we moved into the area. In the time we’ve gotten to know her, we have found her to be extremely kind, helpful and highly skilled. All her staff, from the front desk to the Dental Hygienists, have been professional and respectful of my family’s needs and time. We feel that they truly care about us. (My 3 year old son absolutely adores her and her staff!)
Because of the high amount of cavities and fillings I have had in the past, Dr. Parekh gently encouraged me to consider using a high fluoride treatment, which I admitted would probably be a good idea. Yesterday, after about 6 months of following her sage advice, I had the first checkup since I can remember where I had NO cavities! Coincidence? I don't think so. So don’t be surprised if you notice major improvements in your dental health after going to see her!

My hygienist, Meaghan, is so proficient and I've had excellent care with all of the staff when she was on maternity leave as well. I've recommended family and friends to Luna too. Nice to see Meaghan back to work as well!

Tracy is always very accommodating in booking us all in given our varied schedules, etc., and we never have to wait beyond our appointment times. Dr. Parekh is very thorough and knowledgeable and the dental hygienists do a top-notch job in cleaning our teeth. I had a second visit to Luna yesterday, one year later, and received the same attentive, reasonably priced, excellent care as last time. I am astonished by how many advances there are in the new dental technology, which make an appointment an interesting, calming, pain free experience.
