Great family run operation. Ten years ago I bought my first boat and have had it stored and serviced at Northland ever since. Nothing but a positive experience.

I had the worst experience with the mechanic. I found him condescending and rude. I took my boat to be winterized. The mech couldn't get it running, it's an old boat and we were having some issues. He called me and was very rude in stating how he couldn't guaranty the work. I'm a reasonable person, I know that if my boat doesn't run in the fall it could have issues in the spring. Talk to me like a person, not a subordinate. I'm paying you damn it. The boat was delivered to my cottage and wintered fine. In the spring I pulled back the cover to get the boat water ready. The battery and the cover was missing. I cleaned it up and headed over to the Northland to see if maybe they forgot to put them in the boat. Again I dealt with the same mechanic and his first words were rude. "This guy thinks we have his cover and battery" He stated to someone else in the shop. I DON'T THINK. YOU HAD IT. He even said he never wanted to see my boat again, in reference to it not running in the fall. That's my boat bro. It may not have started for you, but it's started for me for 25 years. A stalwart vessel. Don't insult my boat. It has 10 times the class you do. The lady in the shop was very nice. Maybe even noticed that this dude had sub par people skills. She found my cover and battery and was very attentive. I have had dealings with her in the past and was always satisfied. So moral of the story. Lady is nice. If you need new mooring lines I'm sure the place is fine. If you need something fixed and are talking to a middle aged guy. Just don't bother. Id rather deal with anyone else in the world. A note for Northland; If he is an owner of the business, keep him in the back and never permit him to talk to a customer. I will never give you a penny of my money again, and am telling anyone I speak to about my horrible experience.

Very welcoming family-owned business that emphasizes service, value and customer loyalty. You could go to another, corporate owned marina for repairs and storage, but you won't get the same honest advice, professional service and personal care as you do from Brad, Cathy and Jeff.

Have been using these guys since purchasing my boat through them 6 years ago. Always professional and reliable. When I purchased the boat I was new at the game and I valued Brad's no bs approach- he is a straight shooter and tells it like it is. Made decision making very simple. Highly recommended.

For me the jury is out on the new owners -been a long time customer of this place boat storage, repairs etc for years no issues. I called 3 times over the long weekend (starting Friday) -boat wouldn’t start and was looking for help-I understand that it’s a busy time with boat pick ups etc-and They told me as such BUT what is unacceptable is not getting a call back-service is one of the foundations of any business I can’t believe they (new owner) since Friday of last week didn’t call to follow up!!! I waited until today to write this post to see if they called and crickets!! They just lost a long time customer
