If you havnt been to restore, it’s definitely worth a visit. I love walking through, even if I don’t end up picking anything up... they always have some great stuff for an on going project... I always stop off at restore before I head out to the hardware store... never know what you are going to find!

I started buying here years ago when I was setting up my place and doing some renovations. It used to be a great option to find good deals ! Lately , it’s become more and more difficult to find any bargains, you can still save on certain items , but pricing seems to be now very inconsistent, Often the same product varies in price at the different locations, many times Prices are even higher than online.

The website wouldn't let me upload a photo for the pickup or drop-off request form so I phoned and phoned and phoned my nearest location. Nobody ever answers. I drove down and phoned from the parking lot. I watched the woman not answer as I continued to phone. I walked in, two staff I passed didn't respond when I said, excuse me. They just looked at me and kept walking. I walked up to the admin desk and she had zero customer service skills. Very blunt and rude as she refused my donation. I've found it really difficult to donate to most thrift stores on the north shore.

In the past we found many useful and great deals but not much in the last couple of years. Love the idea but their pricing is bizarre. Still worth a visit.

This place is exactly what you would expect from someplace that sells mostly things that come from demolition/renovations and overstock. Unlike some of the other reviewers I've never experienced unfriendly staff. The product turnover is high so it's worth stopping by whenever you are in the area just to see what new gems are in stock. My current leather sectional couch came from there and was in excellent condition for $250 and the bookshelf in my office was like new and only $10. But it's buyer beware. All sales are final so you need to inspect the item in the store and make sure it's in satisfactory condition.

This is the most well organized cleanest and friendliest ReStore location I have ever visited! They have seeds on sale for $0.50 a package! Loads of deals to be had here: paint samples of every hue, used appliances, household goods, kitchenwares, you name it they got it just about. In store shopping is socially distanced and clean

Terrible experience at this location! Poor customer service, lack of professionalism and basic courtesy from management, management not following Covid protocols, manager has an unfriendly attitude with customers (observed prior to my interactions with her). Store is just a very expensive thrift store (donated twin sheet set $25; synthetic duvet $35.00. Ridiculous!). Do not recommend! Read on for the details. I brought in a modern brushed nickel kitchen faucet (working order/all parts) for donation. At first they refused to even look at the donation, citing Covid (really?), they said “we only accept donations online.” They wanted me to “submit a donation form online, with photos, so we can decide if we will take it or not.” I asked if they could please look at my donation, since I was already at the store; and if they liked it I would go home and submit the online form. The manager (not wearing mask) reluctantly took a quick look and refused the donation, “we’ve got lots of these we don’t need any more”. She offered to put it into scrap metal for me. I said: “no thank you. I’ll donate it to the Salvation Army or Value Village. I decided to take a quick look around the store. I stayed in the front area near the cash register/office. After about 10 minutes I saw a lamp I was interested in. I asked an employee (who had been present with the manager for the faucet donation attempt), if I could test that the lamp was working. They pointed me towards an outlet. I put my bag down and carried the lamp over to the testing station. I checked the lamp functioning, returned to my original location within 2-3 mins, and my bag was gone! Then I overheard the same employee telling a volunteer “that woman who tried to make a donation, she dumped her faucet”. I spoke up and said: “hello! I’m right here. Please don’t make assumptions. I was just testing that lamp. You’re the person who helped me find the electrical outlet to test it.” The employee sincerely apologized to me, and I asked for my bag/donation back. The employee states they gave the bag to their manager; they leave to try and locate the manager. Things go from bad to worse, from here…. When the manager finally arrives, she basically tried to both shame and blame me for “abandoning my bag”. I responded by saying: “I didn’t abandon my bag. And I already told you I was going to donate the faucet somewhere else. Why would I leave it here when I declined scrap metal?” The manager tells me “people abandon things all the time here.” I say, “but are they still shopping in the store when they do it?” I point out that I have been talking to and interacting with the store employees, looking at possibly buying a lamp? That I am shopping within view of the cash register. That they all must be aware I’m still in the store (good retail people know who’s in their store). That with <5 people in the store, it would be easy for them to spot me 20 ft away (testing the lamp). “Why not just ask me about my ‘abandoned bag’ rather than pick up what doesn’t belong to you and throw it away? Would you have done this was a bag of groceries? Or a purse?” The manager had no answer. She was however very annoyed and angry that I wanted it back from their scrap metal, to donate elsewhere. It took the employee 15+ minutes to locate the pieces of the faucet. That’s because it wasn’t the employee who took the faucet out to scrap/garbage area in the first place. It was the manager. But the manager sent the employee out to find it! (So demeaning). Although the employee apologized to me a number of times, and clearly recognized the issues, the manager never apologized or tried to make any amends for the way she treated me or handled the situation. Such poor customer service. I will never go back, and I will actively not recommend this particular Restore.

They can have some good stuff and I have found some good buys here. However too often pricing for used merchandise seems exorbitant. Other habitats have been more reasonable. Also they are too picky about what they'll accept. It deters me from even trying to donate. They should accept getting a certain amount of drek as the cost of doing business
