★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I contacted essential cycles for a guided tour of North Vancouver’s awesome MTM trail network. Jacqueline was a fantastic guide and educator. She took the time to set up my hire bike perfectly for my weight and ability which made the ride safer and smoother. She was also very intuitive with rest breaks and stopping to explain and demonstrate the more technical sections of the trails. It was an awesome day out on Mt Frome & Mt Seymour. I highly recommend essential cycles! 10/10 ??

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just had an amazing day being guided on a North Shore Tour by Andy as well as renting a bike. Can't recommend highly enough. Totally professional but also laid back and flexible. Bikes are immaculately maintained and very high quality. Guiding was first class. Hope I have the opportunity to be back in Vancouver to go again with Essential Cycles. Thank you Andy and Jaclyn.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great service and super fast turnaround. I appreciate being able to book my bike in for repairs at a certain time and get an estimate of what the repairs will be and cost up-front. Knowledgeable and friendly service and female run!! Looked like a sweet selection of rental bikes as well.

Highly recommend taking lessons from Essential Cycles if your new to mountain biking!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I worked with Essential Cycles for an Intro to MTB clinic for beginners! The guides were amazing and we had so much. The staff was so accommodating and supportive that 32 riders. Everyone was so knowledgeable an was able to teach us all the importance skill. By the end of the day I felt more confident! Thank you!

The bikes available for rent are very well maintained and fun to ride.
