poorly staffed I think; appointments can take months which is unacceptable, and getting through on the phone can be a long wait. I went to Vancouver and was in within two days for something that had a three month wait at this location.

It’s an insanely slow service. Even if you make an appointment you still will have to wait a lot before it’s your turn to go in. And it has been the case all 3 or 4 times I have been here. Not to mention that it took me a month just to get through on the phone (it’s either always busy or nobody’s answering) and make an appointment. Please start booking people through email. This is ridiculously bad.

Worst experience! Had an appt. for ultrasound was there early and multiple people who just walked in, after me sitting for 20 mins, were called in right away. My daughter had the same experience 4 months ago and waited 25 mins. with an appt. I spoke with the mgr. and she advised me that some appt. are more important like cancer for instance. If she knew I didn’t have cancer or that I was that insignificant that I didn’t matter maybe she could tell my Dr. I did not need to be there. That was the mgr. what’s up nsmi! I would like to give no stars. When I advised the mgr in front of a crowd of people, so much for privacy, that I would go to another mi, she advised fine that’s your choice. I will be going higher than her for her less than managerial skills!

Literally nothing has changed in the year since someone else posted the same details. Gave an extra star for the staff’s politeness. Be prepared to wait no less than 15 min on the phone to talk to someone and schedule an appointment. Management should schedule more people to answer phones if they refuse to modernize and allow appts to be made online or through email. This kind of wait time is pathetic in this age. Finally got thru and the lab hadn’t received my emailed requisition despite saying they only need patients to wait 4h and I had waited a day to ensure they would have it by the time I called. Phone operator refused to book an appointment without the req meaning I’d have to go thru the whole wait process again. Strike 1. To mitigate redundant waiting, I sent an email asking to be notified when it came in so I could call to book. Their automatic reply said they’d reply to my email in a day. It’s been a week and still no reply. So I called again 5 days later and they had the req but never told me.. Strike 2 I was happily able to get booked in 3 days later because they had a cancellation but when I showed up for my appointment they said it was not for another 3 weeks! None of their appt info matched what I had been told: completely different day, time of day, and no similarity in dates. Strike 3. Despite jumping through all their hoops to get an appt, I’m just being treated like a walk-in and waiting for a tech to have time to squeeze me in. Lesson here is that no matter how much you follow their rules, don’t expect them to follow their own rules and keep advocating for yourself. Or save yourself the hassle and just go to another lab which is what I’ll be doing in the future. Avoid this place like the plague.

This imaging clinic is a nightmare! I tried for two days to make an appointment. I emailed them my requisition twice and they said it wasn’t clear enough. I then spent an hour trying to get through on their line to make an appointment. When I finally got through to somebody they offered me an appointment almost 5 months out. I finally gave up in frustration and found another clinic downtown that made my getting an appointment for an ultrasound much easier. What has happened to the BC medical system? If this is the care we are offered, it is a sad state of affairs.

I had an early ultrasound appointment with a lovely technician. While trying to book a follow-up ultrasound, however, my experience was horrendous. The booking agent wouldnt book the appointment with my doctor's requisition form because it asked for an obstetrical ultrasound instead of a nuchal translucency. When I spoke to the ultrasound technician, she couldnt have been more rude and miserable. She told me that they often don't see patients after a first ultrasound. I explained that I was being monitored closely given my history of miscarriages. She didn;t care and simply replied that they were too swamped to see everyone. If that really is the case, then no doctor should be referring patients to this clinic. Don't bother visiting this clinic.

I've never actually been here but I've had appointments for here. like everywhere in our health care system this place is totally overwhelmed. be prepared to wait at least a week for your appointment. they have a walk-in system but if you're not there first thing in the morning it is very unlikely you'll get in that day. I'm immunocompromised so I wanted to avoid waiting in the hospital so I opted for this option knowing it would be slower. I need an x-ray to confirm my rib is reset in the right place so it's not vital or even really time sensitive. I just wanted to warn others that you'll be waiting days not hours for your appointment.

All of the staff I encountered were very kind, I had to retake mammograms and the radiologist had to check by ultrasound due to "something" they could not reach or find out. That was last year November 2021. The radiologist said I need to get a biopsy done, she will "refer" to the hospital. My family doctor also sent a request a few times, but still I have not heard anything from the hospital. Now it's MAY 2022. half of the year past. I wish their system could improve to take care of patients more accurately and timely. It's our life. Scared to live with this pain until I find out it's nothing serious.
