★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Pleasant atmosphere. Great food and service. Generous servings. Bring a sweater. It is getting cooler outside but they still have the air-conditioning on full. I'm sure they will change that and turn the heat on soon enough.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was staying at the Inn beside the restaurant and enjoyed several breakfasts there. It was consistently very good with very pleasant staff and always a full cup of coffee.
Highly recommended even if you have to go a little out of your way.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The waitress was very nice, she came and checked on us a couple times during our meal. I enjoy the log cabin atmosphere and sitting by the fireplace. The food was very good, although the hashbrown portion sizes are very small(about 1/3 what you at any restaurant I've ever dined at). The picture with no eggs on the plate had the pancake substituted for extra hashbrowns, I feel this amount should be the normal portion given. However, 3 strips of bacon seems to be standard everywhere you go, here you get 4.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stopped in for lunch today, wife and I had a drinks, appys and and meals. Everything was homemade from scratch and was amazing. We have the schnitzel fingers, French onion soup to start, Wife had Fish and chips and I had the Steak sandwich. I highly recommend trying out this Vanderhoof gem. Was popular and the service was good. We will stop in again for sure.
Wish we had room for dessert, the pies and cakes looked delicious but we were too full. Maybe we will try just for dessert next time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The team and I enjoyed a good breakfast here, the steak and eggs were very good, my colleague really enjoyed the pancakes and hash browns. Service was very good too.
I do like the look of the restaurant and how early it opens.
Overall very good food at a reasonable price.
