Fast forward a couple of years and we are building a building to house among other things, that daydreamed about cozy eatery. Now we welcome you to the newest arm of Country Encounters Hospitality - Encounters Wine Bar a& Small Plate Kitchen. Yes "Wine Bar" appears in our name and we have a nice little wine selection but the real focus is the food - after all "Kitchen" appears there too. With most items made in house, unique, fresh and tasty offerings are guaranteed. Join us today and see whats cooking!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An amazing tapas bar in downtown Coleman. The service is great- you are greeted the moment you walk in. The food is delicious. I tried the Korean BBQ Pork Belly and it did not disappoint. Their Parisien hot chocolate is quite the treat! Bathrooms are clean. The tables are adequately spaced for social distancing and there is hand sanitizer. Reservations are required.

The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly. It is a medium size place (around 10 tables of varying sizes).
The tapas were savory and quite original. Elk meatballs, mushroom ravioli, Tuscan meatballs and 4 cheese fondue were all excellent.
We didn't try any of the full size dishes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best meals we have had! Great variety with so many options to choose from. We forgot to call ahead for reservations, and Dawn graciously offered to open the restaurant for us. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. We ate from the small plate menu, and each dish was incredibly unique and delicious with a beautiful presentation. We had 6 small plates for 3 of us - and we left very happy and full. Would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone.

My ultimate favorite was the muscles in a white wine sauce, easily one of the best meals I've ever had! The service was fantastic, the atmosphere was great and overall a very enjoyable experience! Thank you for a wonderful time and I can't wait to come back!
