North Country's base of operation is located at 1164 Roland Street. We are Thunder Bay's Outdoor Recreation specialists. Being located approximately 500 meters from the Harbor Expressway makes it easier for our customers to find us before heading out of town for the weekend.

Currently our staff size is 15 strong with well over 100 years combined experience in some areas of the business. We believe training greatly impacts the way we are able to serve or customers. Our technicians and service writers are educated every year to keep up with the advancements in the recreation industry. Our sales department attends workshops to study our products and see why they are best suited to your needs, while our finance department attends workshops to help find you the best competitive rates, terms, and conditions.

NCCS was absolutely fantastic to deal with. Even though I got parts from elsewhere that were the incorrect ones, they exchanged them for the correct ones at no extra cost! My sled fired up first pull on a top-end rebuild thanks to these folks!

Great customer service, staff is usually quite knowledgeable about parts etc. and Brent in the shop is top notch! He has fixed my toys where other shops were left scratching their heads. Definitely going to keep going back!

β€œI brought a boat motor in for repair because I couldnt figure out the issue with it. Even though I worked on the motor myself the service team were happy to offer their expert advice to repair this particular motor. They were happy to help ” I love this place so two years have passed, I sold the motor that was worked on and when the buyer tried to get it started it would not. The motor was brought back to me where the money was cheerfully refunded. The motor went to another shop and it needed a carb cleaning. The motor was not worked on at north country but I was charged over 500.00. I will never go back to North country.

One star for sales, 5 stars for parts. Shopping for a Mercury outboard, Smiths RV did not have in stock, North Country did. Went in to speak with Claudio, He said the outboard still needed to be PDI'd. He then indicated that there was an additional cost of $95.00 for PDI, and a $20.00 admin fee. He was treating me like I was born yesterday. I mentioned that Smith's was offering a 5 year warranty (manufacturer offer), and he said it came with a 3 year warranty, but he's look into an extended warranty. I went back to Smith's RV and ordered the outboard from them; which took 2 weeks to get in, but at least I wasn't getting hosed an additional $120.00. Very poor sales tactic; I would have walked out of there with an outboard if he had not tried to take advantage me. This is the second outboard I've purchased from Smith's RV in 5 years, and they are excellent to deal with in sales, unlike this place. The parts department here however is very good.

Had the pleasure of purchasing a new 21 Grizzly from North Country Cycle & Sports. Very professional and responded quickly. Liz was my sales rep and she was fantastic and knowledgeable, ask for her help on your next purchase! Staff were professional and respected Covid guidelines and over the phone purchasing was a breeze.

Had a good experience dealing with this company. Dealt with a parts lady that quickly found what I was looking for then found a way to get it to me overnight at a good price. Would have given 5 stars but the second person I dealt with, Chris, didn’t follow up as promised. Then when he did follow up, he had incorrect information on the package delivery. As he was to texting me to place the blame on the parts lady for not sending the package the previous day, the package arrived. Then hours later he sent me the tracking number? Gotta take the good with the bad, keep the parts lady and maybe put chris in the back of the house not dealing with customers? Just saying.
