I had a terrible experience at Synergy Perio last year. It made me fearful and for the first time in my life scared of dentists. My new dentist in Airdie recommended Dr. Tom. From the moment i walked in, i felt peace and he and his staff were amazing. He explains things, he does not do any procedures unless it is necessary and cares about the whole patient not just the dental. I am so grateful for all the staff here. Game changer.

Dr. Bogle is a magician when it comes to endodontics. I have had two procedures - root canals that Dr. Bogle helped me with. From amazing client service to pain management to how precise him and his team is with everything they do. There is a purpose to every move he and his team makes. Absolute professionalism through and through. AMAZING!!!

From my co-worker recommendation I met Dr Ben Thomas due to the complicate Wisdom and Back tooth issues. His staff at North Calgary Dental Specialists are very kind, professional. Even the front end staff very kind and they did quick estimate my insurance coverage. Finally Dr Christopher Lai and nurse did painless Back tooth root canal today. He was very calm and slow treatment and I was very appreciate it! I will recommend my co-workers, friends, family if they have any issues(Highly Recommend!)

I just received a root canal performed by Dr. Bogle, and I could not have anything better to say about his work and the entire team that I got to deal with at North Calgary Dental Specialists. In my opinion, there is not a better Endodontist in the city! Thank you, Dr. Bogle and your fantastic team.

I was in so much pain, and Dr. Christopher Lai kindly squeeze me into his busy schedule for a consultation. I came with tons of questions and worries due to the trauma from failed dental work done by other dentists. Dr. Lai not only answered all questions patiently, but he also offered creative solutions based on my dental health and preferences. Each options' pros and cons were explained in detail. I felt I was treated as a person, not as just another set of teeth. He also offered gas and oral sedation for a very nervous patient. The price of sedation is affordable even though I have no dental insurance. Dr. Lai was confident in his skills but also set the right expectation with his patient. Before seeing Dr. Lai, I asked an endodontist at another clinic if I should have the tooth extracted or retreated. The reply was to have the retreatment with no further explanation. I asked. Dr. Lai the same question, and he honestly answered me that the prognosis of my root canal retreatment is 50/50 due to the uniquely complex anatomy which is hard to reach with instruments. This was true. The endodontist, with 20 years of experience, who did the original failed RCT also mentioned it. Dr. Lai never pushed me to have the retreatment with him but gave me all information and let me decide. Courtney, Colby, and other receptionists were also awesome! They always cheerfully answered my question including an uncommon question like "what kind of anesthetics do you use?" which annoyed the heck out of receptionists at other clinics (I had a hard time getting numbed by my general dentist. Thus, the weird questions lol.). They were sympathetic and always tried their best to coordinate the patient's and doctor's schedules. They could have told me to wait in pain. Instead, they noticed my severe pain and tried shifting things around and asking the endodontist just in case. I am really grateful. The dental assistant was also caring and highly efficient. I think I’m in good hands here and have a feeling that the treatment next week will go well. Update: The treatment went well. Dr. Lai skillfully numbed the tooth (that my dentist could not numb) with ease! Besides the initial injection, it was a pain free treatment. My teeth turned out to have more than one unusual canal that could not be seen on the x-ray. Dr. Lai adhered to his high standards and spent an extra hour to finish them as best as possible. They closed at 4 pm, and I was out of the door at 4.50 pm. I'm really grateful to him, the dental assistant, and Jessica for being so kind and caring after such a long day. I would give 10 stars if I could.

Honestly, I can't even put into words how thankful I am that I was referred to this clinic and Dr. Crisanti. The incredible compassion, professionalism and expertise put into my care is what I can only describe as the absolute gold standard for this industry. After a negligent dentistry experience, Dr. Crisanti and his team walked me through the next steps of my care with patience, and executed the procedures without breaking a sweat. I am profoundly thankful I was referred to this clinic. Thank you for your efforts in saving my tooth, and for showing me kindness during a challenging time.

I have always had anxiety when it comes to Dentists, which is why for the past 20 years I have decided against going in to get a check up or work done, until I met the Team at North Calgary Dental Specialists led by Benjamin Thomas and his Assistant Stacey. I have to tell you all that this is the Best Dental Team in the World, experts in their field with understanding and compassion for how you feel and never taking advantage of your financial situation. I was referred to North Calgary Dental Specialists by my regular dentist for difficult root canal work. This was my first experience with this clinic. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Crisanti’s professionalism and his care, his assistant Laurie for her kindness and the front reception for their calm, and friendly attitude. This whole team treated me with utmost care and respect. They are truly a professional team! I highly recommend Dr. Crisanti and his team.
