★ ★ ★ ★ ★ These guys came and cleaned my chimney before Christmas, i lit a fire and my house filled with smoke, stove would not draft every time I tried the house filled with smoke. I called them a few times and emailed all before Christmas and no response, I let it go over the holidays than started calling and emailing again, still no response, to this day no response. I called another company and they came and cleaned it, and showed me how much stuff came out it was almost completely clogged...I can deal with people messing a job up, I get it it happens, come back and make it right no big deal but ignoring me after you get my money is trash, if I could leave zero stars I would.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just had a chimney sweep done along with an inspection of our wood stove and flue. Can't recommend Norse Heating highly enough - they are first class professionals! Great service, tidy, thorough and they took the time to give us a detailed report of the condition of the flue. They even did a small repair on the collar at no charge. Their rates are reasonable and their service is first class! Wish I could give more stars.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Norse have been reliable and professional when we've used them to sweep out Chimneys. We had a Flue to insert connection fail due to the shoddy workmanship of another company and Norse fixed it for free. Would highly recommend Jamie and team.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ THE WORST...terrible customer service. We had Norse in to service an issue with a gas fireplace that was installed by them. They didn't fix the issue, but charged us $150. We then called them to come back and fix the issue and for the past 6 months have been getting the run around. They first said, "The tech will call you back." No call. Then we were told the tech had left the company and they had no one who could repair gas fireplaces, so the owner would call us. No call.
We've continued to follow up with them for 6 months now and they refuse to return our inquiries. Buyer beware. Be smart and give your business to an honest company who actually cares about it's customers and reputation.

They were careful to keep things clean while they worked, and I appreciated that they made the effort to show and explain to me how well my woodstove was working and the amount of build up I had. I would not hesitate to recommend Norse to anyone needing service and they will be my only call for my future servicing needs.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We engaged them in October 2020 to consult, procure and install a high end wood stove (it's now April 2022). Due to "supply chain disruptions" there was significant delays; which while understandable at first, dragged on and on without progress. They have had some personal/family challenges which we want to be empathetic of; but they either need to work through/around them, or admit that they can't deliver and return our deposit. As a result of these extreme delays, our heating source has now failed, and we need to seek an alternative solution (not with this company).
Update (days after this negative review) - the deposit has now been returned. I've raised the rating from 1 star to 2 (could have been better). Some benefit of doubt to consider, and hopefully their "best intentions" just didn't play out in our favour.
We wish them well and hope that other customers have a better experience. We are strong believers in supporting local small businesses (a reason we selected them in the first place).
