Nicole was our home buying real estate agent in 2018. She was not only fantastic but went above and beyond to insure we found the perfect home at the perfect price. No tactics to get us to spend more or get something different. Since we were buying from Vancouver, there were many complications to home shopping. Nicole made those virtually disappear by providing us with FaceTime house tour, lining up many viewings for any trip to Courtenay, and explaining the ins and outs of the community and it’s area very thoroughly. She was super responsive emailing back quickly and with added info on listings. She would offer to return to liked homes at different times of the day to get an idea of traffic or neighbours. And so many helpful touches to help us feel confident in our choices. When we hit some bumps in the road, Nicole remained very patient, optimistic, focused on our goals, and helped problem solve. She even got trades to come to our prospective house to give us quotes on repairs. It was clear that she had many connections to local resources. Nicole was always there to help and with a smile too. She made us feel comfortable and heard. She was also organized sending us reminder emails and lists of the steps ahead. When crunch time came she was available quickly and never missed a step. She was also a fierce negotiator and very savvy around pricing. I could go on and on but you get the idea, she is a real estate agent that will work for you without the drama and can handle anything that goes wrong. We are so impressed that we were able to purchase this home given that we hit so many bumps in the road and we credit Nicole fully for making it possible. Nicole was the best thing about our experience buying our new home in Comox. Well, OK the home was the best, but we probably wouldn't have even found it without the patience and commitment of Nicole and her obvious commitment to not "selling us a house", but rather "helping us find our new home".
