Friendly, nice, helpful & courteous staff. Thank you so much ‘Tasha & Isabel’ for your kind help.
It is a very clean and organized place. Loads of services. It's awesome since I can browse and request books online. Plus, they offer access to various online education sites.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ New renovation is completed in April2018, now open again! Very spacious and resourceful, and I especially like the workspace on second floor. Plenty of working desks, great architecture design to let sun light penetrate the whole room. Highly recommended to locals and visitors. Last but not least, please keep quiet.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been a client of the NWPL for many years but I have never taken full advantage of all of the services that are available. Just today for instance I was having some serious problems in getting the Audiobook to download and play and so I phoned for help. Monica was a delight to work with and so understanding given my age. We got everything going properly and I am so thankful. She spent half an hour with me and she was so considerate and polite and professional. Thanks so much.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing library: always clean, extremely organized, professional and Friendly staff. I really like the new renovations and self-checkout options. Apparently the books are radio-frequency tagged so you don’t have to scan the barcode anymore (according to a librarian). You just place up to 5 items on the checkout scanner bed and it scans the DVDs as well!
They offer great workshops thru WorkBC sometimes and various learning programs.
My fave part is discovering new books and DVDs from their featured shelf. This book on The History of Tennis is one such new find :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Small library with a lot of great seating areas with plenty of natural light beaming in. It was renovated fairly recently and is a real improvement. My only gripe is having so many homeless people monopolizing the study desks who aren’t there for anything else except to stay warm. It’s be nice if the library facilities was reserved for using it for what it was meant for. For example: homeless people are not being asked to leave when they are drinking in there, but the ‘security guard’ gave me static for taking my mask off to have a sip of water...like what? Really??!?
