★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I never take more than 30-50 items there at a time, but I precount everything and I've still been shorted on their manual counts about 2 out of every 3 visits recently, usually by 1-2 items each time, and mostly on alcohol bottles/cans when I check the receipts. Seriously, if there's only 4 wine bottles on a tray, how can you say there were 3? Couple that with all the wasps attacking customers in the summer, i think it's time to try the one on Edmonds from now on...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I never have a problem here, but I make sure I count my own bottles and cans first....I use the big bins they provide and count out 50 in each....Simple math. Each bin is $5...They pay me out after each load of bins. I usually do two at a time. One for cans and one for plastic bottles. They do need more tables, though.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Staffs working there are very patience but place are misuse by a lots of "professional" recycler. and a lots of public do not realize that bottle deposit for over 1 Litre has change to flat 10 cents only for over a years now.

She will short change you and count really fast and throw all the bottles in a bag very quickly so you cannot dispute and recount. She also said some of our aluminum coconut water cans did not have a deposit. Before you knew it, she threw it all into another bag before I could ask to keep it to bring elsewhere. When I went home, I checked my Costco reciept where I bought the cans from, and of course I paid deposit..
Bring your bottle deposits to other depots near by in Burnaby. Do not come here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I actually feel sorry for these people ! Basic math eludes them . Not once have they got the count right ! And never in my favor . Never be back there until the owners change . Feel sorry for people that can't count , especially in that business !!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There is nothing good about this place. From under counting, everything being filthy, to not giving you the full amount for beer cans...for reasons. I wish I could drive to one of the better ones.

Yesterday I was short changed $10.50 as I counted and listed from home all my recycling 367 cans of coke etc and 95 bottles of FruitO etc, the owner paid me only $36.00 and no receipts and no explanation from the Cashier. I collected all these due to Covid19 when Safeway wouldn’t accept returns. The 30 cartoons of 12 cans each had 360 cans are the only items he paid. He didn’t pay me for the 95 bottles of FruitO etc and 7 extra cans of pop. WHAT A RIP OFF!
