★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My husband and I received recommendations from local Okotoks residents to enjoy our 'Fish 'n Chip' meal at this establishment - well worth the visit!
The owners (Hostess and Chef) were very friendly and welcoming. The fish and chips (cod for Bernie, halibut for me) were fresh, hot, generously portioned and delish! Home made coleslaw and tartar sauce were the finishing touch. Excellent value for money too. Well worth the visit. Thank you.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Even though my and my family were first timers at Mr Spud, the expectations were high. Two years ago we heard about this great little place in Okotoks and finally decided to give it a try. Honest menu , great taste and very friendly customer service. It is a little bit unusual for me as a customer finding club house sandwich and burgers in the same menu than wonton soup and fish and chips. But that was not a deal breaker.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a great experience at Mr. Spuds. I came here by chance with some family since we saw the sign said "fish and Chips". As you can imagine, we ordered the Cod fish and chips and also some mushroom and bacon burgers, all of which were cooked perfectly. Honestly, one of the best burgers I've had at a restaurant. I was super impressed by not only the quality of the food but also the service! The owner herself was so friendly and thoughtful, she brought us two umbrellas since it was super sunny out and was nice to chat with. I highly recommend for anyone to make their way to the new Mr. Spuds cafe for a friendly and delicious diner experience. I will definitely be coming here again soon!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stopped in for an old comfort-food standby. The burger with its hand-made patty and inordinately addictive fries are a staple. The owners are always friendly and say hello as I'm passing by. This is an old favourite and I'm happy to see them still going. They were clearly taking sanitation very seriously as well.

You haven't tasted amazing food until you been to Mr. Spud's!
Seriously! They are sooo worth a trip here. Would give 10 stars if Google would let me, lol

Holy smokes was it ever good, sometimes the little places have the best food, amazing service from the owners, the chef came and said hello and made sure we liked it, and they pulled our chairs out so sweetly and unexpected! You can tell these people love to make others happy, it shows it their food & their smiles and kindness.
