K	Kayla Forgêt on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was once a loyal client to this salon since 2017. Most recently I had a consultation and was supposed to be booked for a balayage, cut, and style. I asked for a strawberry blonde balayage because I had coloured red hair already - I’ve had a different stylist successfully do this for me before. I was never once communicated with that because of the condition of my hair that balayage would not be possible. In fact, during my consultation I was given nods and “yeah it should work”. Come to find out that after my hair was done, I was given a full head of highlights. If I had known of this change in advance, I would’ve asked for an all over colour instead. Not only did he not do what was agreed upon in the consultation, but he cut my hair too short than I asked. He was also extremely rough on my hair. I felt like I had rug burn on my scalp the rest of the day. I expressed my complaints to the salon and the manager offered me to get my hair fixed for free. My stylist Moussa phoned me back and basically refused to redo my hair how I wanted it. His offer was to give me 40% off my next service. I spent almost $400 on my hair only for it to make me feel worse than when I went in. I will not return to this salon and take my business elsewhere

I usually always go to my hair dresser because I suffer from really bad anxiety but I wanted to try to find a place closer, even asking price was very hard for me to do. The woman who I was sat with used a straightener on my bangs burnt my forehead, then told me that what I wanted would not look good (I have had the same bang cut for 5 years) I showed her a photo before I even sat down. After the burn and the comment I got up and left. I would leave zero stars if possible

They did what they could with my hair for it still having extension glue in it (previous salon) only recommendations I have is when I asked for tossled, shaggy waves for the style, I was given pin straight hair. As well, when I went home and washed it and straightened it, I noticed the stylist missed a decent chunk of hair that was half an inch-an inch longer than the rest.
J	Jaspri Panesar on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went into this salon and got a hair toner done 2 months ago for $45 and from a stylist and later went back 2 weeks ago and got charged $107 for the exact same toner I got 2 months ago. These stylists charge their customers whatever they feel like depending on the day and how slow it is. I would not recommend this salon at all. They are just after their money and do not care about the service they actually provide. Just the money. Jocelyn was my hairstylist 2 months ago who charged around $45 and then Vivien who charged me $107. I messaged Jocelyn to ask if it matters what stylists you go to and she says “yes and no” depends on length and thickness of hair. My hair did not get that long or thick in a 2 month span. from that answer I could tell that they just wanted my money. Go to halo studio in cambridge instead.
B	Bea Hart on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I should have just gone to First Choice. $65 plus tax and tip to get heat damage to my hair that will take more than a year to fix. The stylist didn't seem to want to wash my hair and hardly rubbed my scalp at all. That is my favourite part of the experience and also gives the stylist an opportunity to learn an individual's scalp shape. The cut itself is fine, but it was not adjusted to suit my head shape and hair type. They also made a big deal about asking multiple times how much I wanted cut off- only to cut an extra inch or more while "shaping". I have been growing my hair out for my wedding and there is no way it will be as long as I was aiming for now. The styling at the end was very nice! But that may have been to hide the mediocre job.
R	Rachael Deckard on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Second visit and will not return. I went in for hair colouring, same colour, just needed a refresh. They already had the shade they used on me last time, but the stylist said I should be using a different one because my hair was too grown out. My gut feeling said no but I have anxiety confronting others in customer service industry, so I kept my mouth shut and let her do what she thought was okay, after all she is professional in the field. My hair came out very uneven, roots were completely different, there was a visible break line across my head, the colour was way too bright and needed to be toned down. I told her I didn't feel comfortable leaving like that and she seemed annoyed. She ended up quickly re doing it, but unfortunately the damage was already done. For styling, I asked for very little product because I hate my hair feeling heavy, but I got extra layer of products and left feeling like I had a helmet on. They also charged me $220, very confusing because they had a promo for $120. I've never paid that much for a colour and cut. I held it together at the salon, but had a meltie in the car ride home. Washed my hair out 3 times right after to get all the hairspray/product out.

Very clean and following COVID protocols, I was at ease from the moment I stepped in the salon. Hair Stylist Izzy made my daughter feel like the princess, gorgeous haircut and wash!! In overall, my little one is super happy :) Thanks Izzy for a great experience. It won't be our last. Staff are so friendly and products are displayed really nicely. Would highly recommend this place.

I can't wait to go back to Miss Kay again to get my hair done. Also the people where so nice and kind everyone is amazing there ? I will go back again to ask for Miss Kay. She is a sweet heart ❤️ I will recommend her to all my friends and family. Also she works with you on your budget and the prices before the service i loved that as well also she take time in what she does.
