β β β β β Be aware of Denise Schramek. She will sell you used equipment that she states is new. Then when you try and get service they don't have any record of it. After further investigation I found out she sold us a used chair from a woman that recently passed away. The company she worked for had no idea what she was doing and refused to honour any warranties that Denise said would cover our chair. We then found out months later that this woman has been let go from every other wheelchair store in town for her shady practices, customer complaints and disputes over inventory. (wheelchairs going missing) Advanced may be an ok company but don't even talk to Denise. She seems sincere but you will soon realize it is all lies.

β β β β β Pretty sure this store is the only place on all of Vancouver Island that carries the NYACC bed assist rail (made in Vancouver and much better than the flimsy ones on Amazon). Corrine was also very helpful getting in a narrow frame walker for us. Thanks for all your help!

β β β β β I chose National Seating and Mobility when purchasing a wheelchair for my mother in long-term care and was incredibly happy with the product and service from the Victoria store. I chose NSM after reading positive reviews and finding their website the clearest and easiest to navigate. The ability to see photos, basic specs, and starting prices for available wheelchairs was helpful. Having no previous experience with wheelchair shopping, I was going into it with some apprehension, especially as I had limited time and it was a substantial cost. However, Corinne at the Victoria location provided excellent service and was extremely helpful in easing my worries. She was able to get a wheelchair in a short time frame that met all my criteria. I also appreciated how she kept me informed about what was happening throughout the process and went out of her way to get the wheelchair fitted properly and working well for my mother. I would definitely purchase from NSM Victoria again. Thanks so much!
