★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Got to the airport and went to get my rental and no one showed up for work?! Called head office and they said oh take a cab into town to get the rental. Wow and this was a three week booking!?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Run far away. Even if you have a reservation it doesn’t mean that you will have a car. They accept reservation even if they don’t have any car to give. And you arrive and you’re blocked. All three companies there, Budget, Enterprise and National. All bad.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Absolutely thrilled that I was able to rent a car in Cranbrook, BC and leave it in Spokane, WA despite the higher rates for doing so. After earlier flight issues and problems that threatened me not making my graduation ceremony, this was the only solution to get me to my convocation and still be able to fly home with my family. I can not say enough good things about the opportunity to rent from National in one country and return the car in another.

I was able to arrange that my vehicle be ready at Cranbrook on short notice and that I could pick it up even though the team was not operating at the airport at the time I arrived. Dropoff was equally as accommodating. Thanks to the Cranbrook National Team !!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ For many years now, whenever possible I rent my vehicles from National Car Rental. The vehicles are clean and well maintained - the service is professional and is more reliable than many of the others. I am an Executive member with National and for many years I have been able to make a reservation and when I arrive at National, I bypass the check-in lineup by going direct to the line of executive vehicles, select the one I wanted and get registered by the attendant at the gate. No hassle and I know I have a car or SUV that has been properly cleaned, serviced and not smoked in. When I operated a corporation and travelled all over North America, National was consistently reliable wherever I went and had me on the road in a minimal amount of time. Return of the vehicle was always quick and efficient even in those times when I returned it to another location from where I picked it up.
The 2020 Tahoe I rented recently to travel to the west cost was a beautiful vehicle and the service in Cranbrook was as usual was excellent.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ CANT RENT WITH A DEBIT CARD despite their T&C's saying you can (with international debit card, return ticket). Staff at the counter was amicable but still couldn't give me the car.
