I am sad to say that this shop missed finding and fixing integral work on my vehicle. Twice I spoke with them regarding what was required for my vehicle at its current mileage, and was told β€œnothing”, and β€œyour vehicle’s fine”. Suspicious it wasn’t fine, I phoned my vehicle manufacturer and described the problem. They told me what was wrong and what needed doing. I was then able to drive my vehicle into a competitor who found the uncompleted maintenance and performed the work themselves. This second shop even said β€œyour other mechanic could have YouTubed or Googled your car and found what needed doing”. It remains to be seen if I need to replace a major part or not. One star. If I could give zero I would.

The team at Diamond Head Motors is trustworthy and honest. They say what is needed and give a fair price for the work done. Timely and efficient and my go to for my vehicles.

I have always had great service to my car ,at a reasonable rate, and returned at a reasonable time.

Was great service. Expected on having to replace pad and rotors and they were very honest and told me I had 80% left and doesn't need replacement instead of changing them and taking my money got a call saying my breaks are fine.

Worst place to get a vehicle inspection. I booked an inspection, dropped off my vehicle and in the first hour they were open they called back and didn't want to do it. Their reasons just sounded like a complete excuse. I am willing to put money into my vehicle to fix the issues and it seemed like they just didn't want to put the time and effort in. I WILL NOT be using them for any services on my vehicles again. HUGE waste of time

Did the shop do the job asked? Yes. Did they answer my questions and advise me properly, almost? Did they make me feel terrible with every word? Absolutely!! Context : ICBC inspection failed, no quotes given for repair work, asked for advice and clarification and was given little. I was expecting a fail, and I was looking for direction of what needs to be done. If quotes were given and staff were nice diamondhead would likely have my vehicle in for a steering repair and a full brake job. Due to the comically poor treatment from staff I am motivated to look for other shops, I really would of preffered to just use the shop that inspected it. Staff used rude tones, insults, silly gestures and noises, I even felt the need to use de escalation tactics during my customer service experience. I left and all I had to tell of my experience was "I felt like I was on punked or in a mad TV skit" To the owner - I apologize for airing my experience publicly I looked for an option to privately voice my service concerns. I wish your business success.

1. Did not inspect vehicle appropriately to locate all causes of the problem 2. Did not test it properly after completing the first repair and proceeded to lie about how the checked it 3. Did not start repair after we said yes 4. Replaced a part despite us declining 5. No covers were in the car (as other mechanics use to keep the car from getting dirty during repairs); would have expected this during covid... We definitely will not be going back here again. Would rather find a new shop to have services done. I never write bad reviews and despite everything that happened to us I still feel bad for writing a bad review for a local business but customers need to be well informed of what they are getting themselves into

DO NOT USE THEM FOR OUT OF PROVINCE VEHICLE INSPECTION! This is an ICBC scam that they take full leverage with. My vehicle "failed" because a little piece of the rubber was cracked on the rear wiper blade. They "kindly" offered to do the repair for me then do another inspection for free. Billing 1 hour to replace the blade of course. I did it myself and it took literally 2 minutes. Furthermore, they were pretty rude to me. Overall I felt scammed. It's possible they do good work if you're actually getting work done. But much like many of the garages in this province, the temptation seems to be too great to indiscriminately fail your vehicle in order to squeeze you. They are the gate-keepers and they know it. They have you over the barrel. Search up the list of items ICBC actually mandates to be checked (they refuse to provide it themselves but fellow citizens have compiled a list on the internet). Know your rights! Pick a more honourable shop for your inspection.
