★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An example of a wonderfully executed Privately Owned Public Space (or POPS). This private parkette was built as part of an agreement with the city to obtain zoning approval. Primarily hardscaped, but built with cells beneath the pavement for roots to spread and grow, the effects of that design decision are already starting to show with trees that are quickly growing and look set to provide years of shade. A great place to relax with a morning coffee, the shape of the building blocks road noise from busy Adelaide to the north. The portal beneath the building providing one of the accesses makes it seem like this parkette is a secret garden. A great experience and a gem of a parkette.
