Large park that has it all: 2 connected playgrounds for both older and smaller kids; splash pad in the summer (although over concrete so not great for running on wet ground and potentially falling), large grass area with a few large trees, picnic tables, walking paths, and a dog park. Very popular on warm days, there are food venues around the area so you can pick up food on the way and have a picnic. Caution would be that there are a couple of tents set up around the edge of the playground, I haven’t seen any homeless people disturbing the playground, but had to stop curious little ones from exploring them. Some irresponsible dog owners would have off-leash dogs outside the dog park where there are many little kids playing in the same area. Lighting is sufficient at night to enjoy a stroll. A great park overall to have in the downtown area.

Used to be the hangout spot way back before having kids. Was the spot to meet up with friends. Close to restaurants and shopping, good place to chill out or take a break. Now I take my kids to enjoy the updated playground with a splash pad.

This is a good park in a great and central location. There are play structures for kids and lots of open area, near some fun buildings. There is even an off-leash dog area which is great. The only con is that it’s largely unusable with all the ice! It may as well be a rink ?

Awesome awards winning wood chips based playground designed by Earthscape next to AGO. Lots to climb for various ages and huge green space with shades and picnic tables. Public washroom is temporarily closed due to COVID. Must visit site. Built in 2017.

I loved this park! It got lower stars because parking was a bear and there was quite a bit of weed growth, but the feel of this park is incredible. Nice views, the bustle of people (even midday on a week day), plenty of squirrels and birds, big, old, leafy trees, etc. Lots of benches, big open grassy spaces, a spacious dog park and good quality jungle gym for kids. Just a really terrific atmosphere!

Nice place with huge unusual playground. Lash free dog park. Some restaurants near here. However, this place homeless like too can’t avoid to look at their open air shelter just near kids playground. If you downtown view addicted and CN Tower fan you will fall in love with this place.

Great park with unique play structures just under the shadow of the OCAD building. And nice views of some skyline including CN tower. Had a great stop by here after dinner at one of the nearby restaurants! Would recommend!
