Besides the technical skills, just as important are the values that are instilled to day-to-day life through the practice of BJJ (self confidence, patience, overcoming adversity). The students here at GB during my time at the school were amazing; very friendly, patient, with a true willingness to help and without ego.

Never been in a more professional, disciplined, focused, yet friendly, warm and family feeling martial arts academy. On the tatame, I feel part of something much much bigger that just me, or the school, im part of a worldwide family or "warriors" that train body mind and spirit in the beautiful art of BJJ. My condition improved, my confidence expanded and I have more energy and a positive mindset since I started training. The school acomodates everybody, is heart melting to see the "little champions" in their tiny Gis learning since very young the art. Come try it out, you won't regret it!!!

I have more than 12 years experience training in several facilities and I’ve never seen such commitment from professor and staff to keep it running even in these difficult times during a pandemic. Online classes are up and running and professor keeps sharing his knowledge, now with a different platform that will ultimately lead all students to a healthy path. Glad to be part of the family!

You can immediately see the difference between this, premium school and the others. Attention to details, cleanliness great staff. The head coach is very knowledgeable and passionate about JiuJitsu and that gives me great motivation. Everyone is so friendly and ready to help. Oss!

Gracie Barra is more than just a school, it truly is an extended family. The classes are exceptionally run, the atmosphere is friendly and fun, and Professor is a friend, mentor and father figure all rolled into one. Even though work and personal events have forced me on extended absences from time to time, whenever I return I am greeted with all the love and warmth of a family homecoming. Family, duty, and honour. These are the qualities this school embraces and embodies. Not the best school in Toronto, it is THE school in Toronto.
