Munroe Dental Centre has been an integral part of the East Kildonan neighbourhood for more than fifty years! The practice was started by Dr. Sheryl's father, Arnold Kapitz, who retired in 2013 after 50 years of practice.
Dr. Sheryl, who herself has been practicing dentistry for more than 25 years, and the fantastic team at Munroe Dental Centre have been taking care of the dental health needs of people in the Winnipeg area for a very long time.
The dedication and loyalty are mutual, the clinic has many patients who have been coming for generations.
Our team loves to hear and share in the growth of their patient's families. Over the years they have seen and served children who have grown into adults and adults into grandparents. Patients who move away still come to Munroe Dental Centre from across the province for our dental services.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Staff are friendly. They try to accommodate you. They definitely try to get as much business out of you as possible, which is just good business, but annoying. The final decision is always yours though. As far as the dentist, she is very friendly, and skilled. My mouth feels great!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is an absolute pleasure to come to Munroe dental. My co worker refered me to Munroe and I thanked her a hundred times. The lady at the reception is such a nice, kind and warm lady and the staff that has assisted me the times I have been there have always been so gentle and professional. I live all the way by St. Norbert but it is 100% worth the drive.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’ve been coming here since i was 7; I’m 24 now. I always had the best experience so i never had anxiety about the dentist until my last visit. I’m unsure of the dentists name but she was new to there and she was blonde? She made me very uncomfortable and she was just very insensitive and unprofessional. She was very insensitive to my anxiety by sighing and rolling her eyes and just by the way she looked at me, she never greeted me. And when i was waiting for my details in the waiting room for my wisdom teeth she was loudly complaining about other patients with colleagues; about how they whined too much or how they were over dramatic. When she saw i was still there waiting and listening she began whispering.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I absolutely love Munroe Dental! My entire life ive been nervous and scared of dentists, until Dr. Melissa. She really cares about how im feeling to make sure there is no pain. She has gone out of her way to make my experience there amazing. 2 years ago I had the worst teeth ever, and now today i can smile again! :) I recommend this place to everyone! The reception team is amazing! they treat you like you are family. i love all of them ❤

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Have been going here for approximately 13+ years; even since moving an hour away I still drive to see this team.
Everyone is so nice and accommodating. I suffer from anxiety especially in the dental setting. The ladies at the front are very kind and understanding even when I call to change my appt. a few times, and ask a lot of questions.
Dr. Sheryl is so patient with me and really goes the extra mile to go at my pace and help me with preventative measures to limit the amount of times I have to come in.
The technology they have is awesome too, instead of doing a regular mold for a night guard I had 3D imaging done, the dental assistant said it would be uncomfortable but it really wasn't and was so fast.
Tara is by far the best hygienist and I will only see her just because she is that good!
This team is really the best what an awesome group to have in my corner.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been going here for years. Honestly it was mainly because of 2 specific receptionist (Chantal) and my regular hygienist Cara. These years here with no issue for me. It seems that a receptionist has changed and the one I have recently spoken to has a disgusting attitude and no appreciation for a person's time. I literally had only 2 days that I could go for an appt, which I stressed a number of times. It was like pulling teeth to even get times from her and of course this was still messed up. I find out on the day, when being called for a "reminder" that the receptionist did not listen to a word I said. I was scheduled for the most inconvenient time and day in my schedule in a week. And, it sounded like the same receptionist who I spoke to, to book, was was calling me for the reminder. I literally have no other days for an appt I needed or else I would have not called to make an appt. I arranged my day to be able to have this appt and fulfill the rest of my obligations. It is clear, they can care less for my time and my business. I will be finding a new dentist.
