About Mumbai Bites
We, the Mumbai boys are introducing Mumbai Bites that will serve non-traditional Indian food from the streets of Mumbai to the streets of YYC.
Mumbai has always been so close to our hearts and it always makes us feel nostalgic when we think about all the amazing street food we grew up eating back home in India.
The idea of Mumbai Bites was discussed by 3 friends over a hot cup of cutting chai on a rainy day and eventually developed into a business we are today. We decided to take up this challenge of introducing some tantalizing flavors from the streets of Mumbai that will make everyone go Jhakaaas... (over the top feeling)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I picked up dinner from here tonight, and it was delicious. I ordered the crunchy samosa chaat, pataka wings, chicken Manchurian and regular samosas and it definitely did not disappoint. Each dish was packed with flavour and very generous portions. I even forgot to order extra mint chutney and he hooked me up for free! Great taste. Great customer service. Affordable. Will definately be back!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Mumbai Bites came to Best Western to serve the vaccination clinic on site. This gave me a chance to try their food which al sounds exciting.
I asked the staff what is most popular and when confirmed that I like spicy, he suggested the Masala Crunch Chicken Sandwich with fries. I also ordered a Ek Number Aam Ka Shake.
It took about 10 mins to havey food ready, but I expected it given the volume of customers present.
The Masala Crunch Chicken Sandwich was delicious! The Indian spaces and flavors gave the classic crispy Chicken sandwich a whole new angle of flavor! I devoured that sandwich quickly. I would definitely order it again in a heartbeat. In fact, when I see Mumbai Bites again, I'm going straight to their food truck.
The fries were crispy coated fries. I suspect they are Cavendish coated fries, aka Costco fries. However, with the added Indian spaces, they were elevated to another level. I wanted to save some for my wife, but I devoured them long before I got home. I would still make my way to their food truck just to get some fries as a snack if I'm not hungry. That's how good they are.
The Ek Number Aam Ka Shake is refreshing and perfect for a how day and to go along with the Masala Crunch Chicken Sandwich with fries. I'm curious how good the Rose Gulab Ka Nasha would be. For the sake of trying something new, that's the only thing I would order differently next time.
Overall, Mumbai Bites has really impressed me with their refreshing new takes on western food. They make me excited to try their other dishes to see how awesome they may be!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered pick up for the first time since they opened on Bow Bottom Trail. The food was excellent. we ordered 5 dished for 5 people and have enough leftovers for my hubby tomorrow. Great service by the team as well. We will definitely add this to our regular take out list. so happy for local ethnic options in the south!

Soon as I saw them open down the road, I pretty much ordered half their menu over the course of a week.
So far everything's been top notch. From the street food items to the more traditional curries, and the Hakka fusion items it's been a treat.
