I received terrific service from the owner of MSG today. I highly recommend this quality shop for all of your bike purchases and servicing.

Inquired about a bike on the website, but they were out of stock. Paul put me on backorder and said he would let me know if anything came in that fit my size range. He was able to get me a Norco Storm 4 XL on backorder, which eventually arrived a few weeks later. Went to pick it up same day he messaged me it was in. The staff were really nice and got it sorted for me with a quick turnaround. They did a pre-purchase inspection on everything, and I asked about registering the bike with the police and they gave me all the details. They also explained about servicing and parts. All in all, really happy with the experience, and I'm super appreciative of the time they took to explain the "behind the scenes" of owning a bike with a beginner. I'd really like to give the guy who helped me a shoutout, but I never got his name. Tall curly hair guy at the Sherwood Park location (edit: receipt says Andreas). Thanks, I'll buy you a coffee/tea from the Tims next door next time I'm in :)

I'd like to thank the crew at Mud Sweat and Gears for the amazing customer service experience. I was referred to Mud sweat and gears by a friend who bought his Santa Cruz Hightower from there a week prior. I was looking at upgrading from cross country to an all mountain or enduro as I started riding in the mountains this year and the xc bike did not have sufficient suspension travel. I went in to check out the Pivot Switchblade and ended up purchasing it. Lee helped me out with my purchase; he answered all of my questions, helped me out choosing pedals, and facilitated the test ride. Brandon helped me out with setting up my bike and made sure everything was perfect upon delivery. He took his time explaining suspension set up to me and made sure I was well informed so I could make necessary adjustments on my own . Paul (the owner) gave me a competitive price which made me feel my business was valued. I was not rushed out the door, all my customer service needs were met every step of the way. They were able to install my ride wrap on short notice even though the service department was super busy. It's a large enough store to offer a good variety of bicycles, gear, parts, and accessories but small enough to feel like a valued customer from the moment you enter to the time you leave.

I came in for a new kids helmet and the staff were so helpful in sizing and checking stock for additional options. We had a great side discussion about little snowboards and the riglet reel. I have come here for 15 years for service, parts, gear and will continue to do so, telling everyone where to find great people.

I took my child's tire in for an inner tube repair (1 yr old tire) which I was told would be $29. When I returned to pick up the tire I was charged $53 as the technician said that the tire needed to be replaced so he took it upon himself to also change the tire without calling me first to get my consent to do so. I asked for the old tire back but mysteriously he couldn't find it... (even though the repair was done just 3 hrs prior). The new tire is not the same as the existing tire, different tread and look and I was told I had to pay the $53 charge owing as the work was already done. I am very disappointed in the service at Mud Sweat Gears Sherwood Park location; I won't be returning to be duped again.

I've consistently been happy with the service at MSG, in this location and the 2 in Edmonton. The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable but not pushy (they must not make commission). I've purchased stuff for summer and winter there, with the help of their staff (bikes and ski/snowboard gear). A+! Your staff is awesome.

I trekked out to Mud Sweat and Gears in Sherwood Park after dropping by their west end location in search of a snowboard. I was informed that only Sherwood Park and a few other suburban locations carry boards. I walked in with a fairly decent idea of what I wanted, but was given many options, all based on sound advice and obvious real experience by Lee (A+ service and a genuine dude). Previously I have mainly bought from big chain places, well probably not anymore, I was pleasantly surprised at the difference in product knowledge and the ability to understand what I want and need. I'm an intermediate boarder at best, but there are no elitist attitudes here, just honest advice. I'll go back in future for all my boarding purchases and will recommend to anyone.

Good day MSaG! Thought I would take the time to let you know about the great service and the above and beyond help your staff brings to the stores. Your staff always helps when it comes to supporting our needs for our bike recycling for Cuba! Now a days everyone seems to be quick when it comes to let you know when they are dissatisfied so I thought I'd take the time to let them know how appreciative we are about their positive contribution to your store. So Thanks once again Randy
