This place was awesome. I went to the Oakville location to get my M2, with barely any motorcycle experience. It was a little touch for me to get the hang of but the way the instructor Nigel explained everything and gave feed made it easier for me to feel more confident and do better in my lessons. Al and this one British dude were also really helpful, thy were super encouraging and were part of the reason I started to feel more and more confident in riding. They were all super nice; even if you did something wrong they wouldn’t get mad or anything they would be genuine in trying to help you and be happy when you did it successfully. I have nothing bad to say about this place. The instructors made me feel like I should just go and do the course again for the fun of it.

Honestly I will definitely recommend this course to anyone! There everyone was very friendly and they would encourage you till the end. As the someone who had no experience before I was really nervous at the beginning. I wasn't even sure that I would be successful. But thanks to my great instructors who always made sure we understood everything and always giving us great tip. We can feel that they are very passionate and are pro at what they do. They will do their best to make sure that you are successfull. I know that everything they taught me will always help me stay safe on the road for my whole life! Thank you Martin's and Jorge's team and my 3 great instructors who help me build on that lasagna !! ?(just a small inside joke ) ! ? Thank you everyone and all the people in my group. It was nice meeting amazing people like u !

If you are not sure which course to take or whether you should take one at all, do yourself a favour and book a course with these guys! Not only are you going to learn to ride safely and build your confidence level, but you are also going to have so much fun doing it. The instructors on this course are all exceptional and really take the time to work with each student to ensure that they are road ready. Shout out to Martin and Brad in particular. Without their patience, , guidance, genuine kindness and helpful 1:1 coaching, I would not feel confident in my riding abilities. They also have the best sense of humour :) For anyone wondering if what the course looks like: you have an in-class session on Thursday where you learn everything you need to know in theory about riding safely. The people you meet here will feel like family by the end of the weekend. On Saturday, show up early and choose your bike (if you have a preference). You can feel the excitement and some nervousness in the air as everyone chats about their experience (or lack of) riding and why they want to ride. The group you met on Thursday breaks up into smaller groups (about 12 people). You start slow (on the bike, with the engine off), building up to getting to know how to operate your bike at a basic level, and getting going at slow speeds. Throughout the day, you get to practice different exercises and get feedback from your instructors. Listen to them, they want you to learn to ride almost as much as you want to learn. You leave on Saturday feeling like you went through some sort of strange but oddly fun motorcycle boot camp. On Sunday, you come back and have the opportunity to try a different motorcycle or track down the motorcycle you were using on Saturday, because you've probably built a bond. The morning is a lot of fun as you ride through a simulated city-like experience, with roundabouts, merging lanes, two way streets, stops and lots of shoulder checks so that you don't run into all of the traffic (the other bikes). Then you get to ride some curves (because it's one of the most fun things you can do on a bike), and have some practice time before your test. If you are having trouble with anything during this practice time, the instructors will work with you to ensure you get whatever is stumping you (for me, it was feeling confident that my bike would not tip over at low speed - it didn't). Then you do your test, which everyone is at least a tiny bit nervous about. It becomes exhilarating as you go through each exercise (which you've already practiced that weekend) and realize that you can now ride! Three tips on being successful: (1) Listen to your instructors always, but especially when they tell you to bring sunblock and/or rain gear (some of us got sunburnt and then spent the next day shivering because the rain soaked though our clothes). (2) Don't make any other plans on Friday night or Saturday night because being tired will affect your performance - you should use this time to learn all you can to ride safely and confidently. (3) Lastly, have fun. You want to ride, that's why you've taken a course, so don't focus on your mistakes, just keep practicing and talking to your instructors.

MTOhp is absolutely without a doubt the best motorcycle training institute! 1st I would like to thank the senior instructor Martin he went above and beyond to make sure I was able to secure the date I wanted and prepare me for the course. Secondly all the instructors were phenomenal! Everyone is there to help you succeed! You learn everything! I went from not knowing how to even start a motorcycle, to learning clutch control, throttle, push steering, emergency braking and life saving skills! By the end of the weekend I was confident and able to drive a motorcycle safely! I cannot recommend them enough! Shout out to instructors Martin, Paul and Nigel! Not to worry every instructor is amazing! They will spend extra time with you, they are there to make you succeed! I honestly couldn’t of done it with the amazing staff at MTOhp! Thank you so much for teaching me and taking the time to make sure I understood! Keep up the amazing work! Highly recommend 10000/10!

Just finished my M1 to M2 exit course today, and just wanted to say how amazing this course and everyone working with it is! I had no experience with riding a motorcycle coming into the course this weekend and left today feeling extremely confident with riding one! I owe it all to the amazing instructors that I was able to have as our guides (Brad, John, Oliver, Sid and Kyle and then some) as well as Martin for being extremely helpful and quick with answering any questions we may have had and making sure we were clear on everything ahead of time. Had an amazing experience and definitely will be returning for my M2 to M course!!

Such an incredible time. Not only is every single one of the instructors great at teaching but they’re also great people who genuinely want to help. I had never even sat on a bike before this course (I was VERY bad at the start) then I improved a lot over the weekend and was able to pass the first time! I got a lot of instruction and a ton of great pointers! Also met some amazing other students. Kind of sad I don’t get to go next weekend. Highly recommend!!

Just completed the m1 exit course, an honest absolute must for any m1 rider with little to no on road experience. Instructors were full of knowledge and experience. Martin, senior instructor was passionate and carrying/ understanding.Kelly, also an instructor, was very clear in his instructions and prepped me for a pass with ease. Excellent safety lessons. With dirt bike experience,I thought I had the basses covered but there was a lot more to learn that will help me for many years to come.

I took the M1-M2 course last weekend and man, what a great experience. I can't say enough good things. The kit and bikes are all in good shape- well maintained and fairly new- but that's not where I want to focus my review. Any agency can buy bikes, these instructors though, top shelf! The student group was pretty diverse, cutting across a number of segments, age, gender, experience etc. and these instructors were able to relate to each of us- no one ever felt out of place. If that doesn't sound like an outstanding skill to you, trust me, it is. In my career I have had the opportunity to instruct both new staff and new trainers in a fairly complex program, trust me when I say these instructors are good. They're passionate and knowledgeable and they share that with the class every step of the way. They make time to answer any questions you might have, they share their experiences, they foster a team environment for the whole group and, importantly, they never make you feel like a burden, even if you eat the dirt like I did ha ha. While all of the instructors were great, I want to take a minute to recognize Jorge, what an an absolute legend! He brings a level of understanding, drive and genuine enthusiasm to the whole group that is unmatched. Keep up the great work everyone! I can't thank you enough for the gift you have given me- a new skill and a new passion. I can't wait to see you all on the road!
