M	Manda R on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Family failed to tell me, we were out of dog food until 5 mins to close. I called asked if I ordered through the website if they could throw our bag in the back. Laurie was the supervisor on shift and she offered to wait for me and hand me the bag. I showed up 15 minutes after close and recieved my dog food with a smile! Absolutely stellar customer service that turned a stressful situation into a great experience. Always shop at Mr. Pets, we've been shopping here since we moved to Alberta and have never been let down!!

Once I asked for more information about the cat and how to adopt I was given one word answers and told the cat wasn’t ready. I went back a couple days later to find out he was adopted. Wasn’t happy with the experience at all.

She was soooo helpful and so knowledgeable and I'm so grateful as I'm a bit out of my mind after David passing away. This was the best experience I had and I called a lot of places!! Thank you!! ?
A	A K on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I usually love going to this pet store! But the last 2 times I went in to buy fish for my 30 Gallon aquarium the 2 girls working there were not pleasant at all. I had some questions about a couple different fish but am not a newbie to having fish tanks. They gave me false information and made it seem like they didn't want to sell me any fish. Which was clear after they went off whispering. They ruin the pet store for me and I will not be going back. There are much better places to buy fish with people that actually know what they are talking about when it comes to aquariums and who actually want to help you.

K	Killergoomba on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I used to frequent this place quite a bit from when it was in the basement on St. Anne Street as it first started as Paradise Pets way back in the day. The family that owned the store was quite friendly, and very knowledgeable about their animals and the product they stocked. When they moved to their current location, it was exciting to see what they did with the store as it grew in size. Was skeptical when they sold the store to the Mr. Pets franchise from B.C. Although the family did not work there anymore, I recognized that they kept on a few of the old staff. Although the young staff were always friendly, I didn't always feel like the store was the same. Something had changed. As with most retail locations, Mr. Pets seems to have lost its "soul" as it were, and has in charge people who seem to suck the joy out of working in a place that should be full of fun and good vibes. Recently I found out more about what goes on behind the curtain, and I'm not very impressed at all. Sad to say that the spirit of the store died with Spike... I will shop here no more.
