The Ranch is a family owned and operated pet boarding and day care facility. Our location allows us to make the best of both country and city worlds. Only minutes from St.Albert, our facility sits on four acres of land in the beautiful country-side, full of fresh air and with plenty of room to run.
We offer 24 hour care to our guests with staff onsite at all times. We pride ourselves in delivering the highest standard of service to every dog and cat entrusted to our care. With our state of the art facility, our innovative Bark + Ride Shuttle and unparalleled amenities, we are able to provide customized services to suit your needs and, most importantly, your pets.
Our staff is enthusiastic (check out our Instagram!), educated and have chosen to be part of our team because of their love for animals. When it comes to building a strong relationship, we believe that stability is extremely important for both pets and their owners. At each visit, you will be greeted by the same familiar faces, which helps to create a comfortable transition for your pet.
We believe that each animal is different and have created an environment where your pet can be given unique care based on age, breed, medical needs, and behavioural traits. Providing a loving, fun, and safe space for all is our highest priority.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ *cat boarding* I want to leave a review of my experience boarding my cat here as they also offer cat boarding.
We were quite nervous to leave our rescue cat here as we have only had her for a few months. We dropped her off on Sunday morning and Registration went quite quickly. The person at the front desk was nice and answered all of our questions.
We were quite worried about the cat and how she was doing so I called the office. The person who answered the phone was reassuring that the cat was doing well and I was pleasantly surprised that he knew about her.
Upon pickup we got a chance to see the cattery through the windows and see all the beautiful kitties. Judy was great, taking the time to chat with me and let me know how our cat did during her stay.
I could tell that the cat was well cared for and loved while we were away.
The only recommendation I would give is to post pics of the cats on social media. I see alot of dogs on your social media but as someone who is dropping their cat off for the first time it would have been wonderful to see pics of the cattery and garden.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was driving I'm slippery/conditions and ALMOST there to drop my little dog off for a (first-time) stay and got stuck in the snow! ?
A kind staff member of The Ranch came and got my dog and his stuff (two trips) and checked him in. ?
I can't thank him enough for his help at a stressful time (waiting for AMA to get me out after others tried with no luck) and will definitely be back. My dog did well and that means a lot too...for future plans/needs. I'd definitely recommend this place and look forward to visiting again! ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 10 out of 10 hands down the Greatest kennel I have ever put my dogs in. The staff are fantastic they go above and beyond for you. Prices more then reasonable. Huge facility with many types of activities for your pet.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I needed a safe place to keep my dog's while I was house hunting for over a month, these guys did a fantastic job. They gave me a long stay discount, were happy to give me updates and did an excellent job taking care of my pups. My senior dog has issues with nose dryness, and when I picked her up, her nose was in excellent shape, which lets me know they did a good, consistent job moisturizing it. Very happy with the Ranch, glad I listened to my co-workers recommendation! I've already got some more daycare time booked.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Jake & Marley had their first stay here, from 9/20 to 9/24. When I picked them up, they weren't stressed at all. They were very happy & I could tell that they had a great time. They pretty much slept for two days, from all the fun they had at their stay.
My dogs are on a raw diet & there was no issues with that. I also brought toys from home.
The staff was great about answering all my questions. On their next stay in a few weeks, I signed them up for Doggie Tennis.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our dog Thor stayed at the ranch for the first time Dec 27- Jan 12. I was pretty nervous putting him in a kennel as he is a rescue who was abandoned in the dead of winter. Our previous rescue was never kenneled as our boys lived at home. The ranch was recommended by a friend. They were so great with Thor. He was a little nervous the first couple days, but they got to know him and his personality. It was really cold during that time so they had a lot of indoor play time. He was not stressed at all when we picked him up. In fact he hugged the lady that brought him out to us. I even e mailed to check on him while we were away. They responded very quickly. I am so impressed with this kennel. Thor will be back!!!
