About Mr.Sub

In 1968, two friends came up with a delicious idea: sell quality food, serve it fast, make it fresh…and above all, give customers value for their money.They took their idea of making fresh sandwiches and opened the first Mr.Submarine in Toronto at 130 Yorkville Avenue in 1968. The response was overwhelming and just five months later the two founders opened a second Mr.Submarine.

In 1972, MR.SUB sold its first franchise and that first franchisee is still with MR.SUB to this day.

In 1990 Mr.Submarine officially became MR.SUB and in 2011 it was proudly purchased by the MTY Food Group Inc. As of 2017, MR.SUB has over 260 locations across Canada as well as internationally. In 2018 we began serving RWA meats in our most popular subs, reconfirming our commitment to providing honest food that you can feel good about feeding your family. After five decades, we’re proud to say we’ve been your home away from home, a place for late night snacks, post-game hangouts, and so much more. I ordered a sub through skip the dishes and received the completely wrong order. Then I contacted Mr sub and they told me to come pick up the sub that I ordered and I don't get a refund?? I payed a delivery driver to bring me my food so I didn't have to drive 15 minutes each way to get my food which I had to do anyways. Long time customer here who will not be back. Very disappointed. UPDATE They don't care about you. Messaged and talked with a couple different people and they will not acknowledge that they did anything wrong and put the blame on everyone else. And will not rectify the issue.hahaha will not be back and I suggest others to not go either

Staff are always welcoming and friendly. Veggies and bread are always fresh. PLUS this location has a drive thru. Quality service and subs!

I was ordering my regular the other day and I found out that my favorite sandwich had a hair in it. Sorry, but Mr. Sub just lost its most loyal customer. :(

Havent ordered food here in years so I decided to give it a try again. Food itself is decent. But the Staff seemed very bored and didn’t want to be there. Then when I got my sub (meatball) when I opened it and picked up my sub the contents of the sub fell out all over me. (It wasn’t wrapped correctly so when I took it out of the bag it went everywhere) not happy :/ what I ate of the food was good though

Place was clean and staff was friendly. I ordered a small pizza sub on a cheese bun. She made a large plain white bun pizza sub instead. By the time I noticed she was already at the point of putting the veggies on so I just took it. The sub was ok. Even with extra pizza sauce there wasn't enough. They dispense it from a tiny squeeze bottle. They should use a larger nozzle. My husband had a Canadian club and they did his correct. He said more Sauce would've been good on his too. But the food was adequate. Hate to say ut but not sure we will go here again.

I just went through the drive thru, ordered two subs one small and one large and they mixed up the breads on both sandwiches and instead of the two different sized subs I got charged for two large ones. The subs were good but the bread mix up was very disappointing as well as both subs being charged as larges. I’ll own a bit of it for not checking before I left and waiting until I got home but it’s not like the order was very complicated and people shouldn’t have to check the food before leaving the drive thru. It’s not like they were very busy as I was the only customer at the time. Nice and friendly staff tho!
