Mr. Greek

Disappointing! I don’t know if they changed owners or staff but the quality isn’t the same as before. Recently, I got take out for my family and it was not fresh, and poorly put together. The 3 souvlaki meals we got was not fresh, the chicken was dry and different portions in each plate( some had more some had less). The packing of the food was really poorly put together it was very sloppy and not appetizing. The side order of large roasted vegetables was disgusting. The broccoli was mushy and had a foul taste and has gone bad. The carrots was discoloured, and has a foul taste. The zucchini, some were mushy and some were under cooked. seems like they mixed some old/rotten veggies together to cook. The Greek potatoes also side order did not taste good the potatoes were undercooked and didn’t have flavour it was only drenched in sauce to make it look like it had flavour but when you bit into it wasn’t cooked properly. My husband’s burger was put together very sloppy with too much sauce and his Greek fries was mushy it wasn’t good at all, fries should be crispy and cooked properly but it wasn’t. None of their food was fresh, which is disappointing because we use to love ordering take out here all the time. In the past the food was amazing that’s why we keep coming back. Packaging was horrible, they switched from the plastic containers to these tin takeout containers and the food wasn’t even hot. They didn’t know how to package it in the bags. It had 3 souvlaki dinners at the bottom which was smaller, then they put the 2 large side orders of potatoes and roasted veggies on top, it was falling over and not tightly stacked and organized like before. The salad was old and not fresh, some of the ingredients were also discoloured so you know it’s going bad. They mixed in items of hot abs cold together, it was a disaster! One other thing I saw that was super disgusting was the female cook, she was snacking on food while cooking, her fingers touched her mouth and then she’s back to touching all the customers foods. This is totally NOT Sanitary !!! I do not recommend this place to anyone, this is not how a restaurant should be handling people’s food. The previous staff who were cooking here was well organized, very clean and sanitary! Also we’re friendly and nice too. This time I went there was the 1 cook lady and only 1 other staff at the cash whom was the same person who helped put together food, didn’t see her wash her hands while she was doing this. I do not recommend this location to anyone, go somewhere else for Greek food don’t waste your money.

The food was good, but it wasn't great. It's honesty tough to find a NON fine dining Greek restaurant in North York. Greek salad was meh, very minimal on the feta and dressing was a pre-packaged pack. Rice + Potatoes were exactly what you'd expect, flavor was minimal but at least they were fresh seeming. The chicken skewers were decent although thin, and I got a few Xtra chewy bites. Like I said this foods alright aside from being a bit bland, it certainly feels like it could use a bit of love and livening.

I just got my food delivered and it was absolute trash. I'd say they gave me dog food but I wouldn't even feed this junk to my dog. Do no order from this place. The fries were black, not from being burnt but from being soaked in dirty oil. The chicken was dry and tasted like it was cooked 2 days ago. Potatoes were way too salty and the rice was meh. If your planning on ordering from here, you can save money by digging through a dumpster. It will be the same quality of food.

Amazing, food, and although it took a kind of long time to prepare 1/4 of a family size, it was worth the wait! I am not a big fan of salad dressing, but the signature green dressing is amazing! Is located next to Starbucks, Pizza &Wings, and Pizza Pizza. Great place, and the place is pretty clean. Doesn’t have a bathroom though, was a BIT disappointed.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. I think it's time to close this place down. Paid close to $75 for dinner for four tonight and it was skimpy and not all food delivered. Also there was no flavour. Dinners were $15.99 each and the foil container merely seven inches round. I would say the meal wasn't dinner size and kids still not full from their meals. ▪︎》 Two white pitas were missing from order. ▪︎》 An order of potatoes also missing. We telephoned the store and left a message in their voice-mail to be refunded for missed food. It's almost midnight and no one had the courtesy to return our call. I had a spinach wrap that came cold and the pita stuffed with chicken was more suited to a young person instead of an adult. People do not buy from the stink hole that is more content with not fulfilling your entire order. There is no reason to fall short on orders. Covid or not I recommend not ordering from here. The food isn't sufficient.

A simple salad and fries takes too long to make. I’ve been waiting for half hour. They only gave us one pack of utensils. The chicken does not smell good. Also the fries taste like they were double deep fried and burnt.

I ordered the 19.99 two souvlakis with two sides, pita and tzatziki sauce for takeout. When I was ordering, the Asian lady at the cashier was not at all helpful or pleasant.. but I was like okay, as long as I get good food. I thought it was more expensive than Jimmy the Greek but decided to give it a shot. When I got home, I checked the bag and there was no tzatziki sauce, and the chicken looked like one souvlaki instead of two. I was shocked that this is all the chicken that $20 gets you because seeing other people's photos it looks like I should have gotten twice more chicken. Having eaten at Jimmy the Greek a lot pre pandemic, I also know i can get this amount of food for around $12.. the flavour was pretty good but my family and I won't be going here ever again. I know it's a hard time for the businesses and I wanted to support them, but this is just mean and dishonest.
