I had a really wonderful experience with Move-Ottawa. Jeff and Pat arrived right on time (9am) to move me from Toronto to Ottawa, were fast, professional, and friendly, and took great care of my stuff. They were equally fantastic during the unload in Ottawa. They followed COVID protocols. The price was great (much lower than all of the other quotes I got from other companies) and the customer service was really responsive and helpful. I will be recommending this company often!

Terrible experience, DO NOT use them....had to get 3 trucks as first truck was not large enough and wrong size sent...dropped the furniture without putting my bookshelf together, bookshelf screws missing. They DON'T pickup when you call them after the move. Wish I had selected another mover!!!!!!!

I used Ottawa movers to move my 3 bedroom home from Ottawa to Kingston. The movers were very professional and everything went smoothly. I would highly recommend them.

We were very happy with Move-Ottawa and in particular Pat and Jeff. They treated our belongings with care and listened to what we needed. Having hired a terrible moving company in the past, we found Move-Ottawa to be highly professional and skilled.

Very negative experience dealing with Move Ottawa. We essentially hired them because of all of the great reviews so we were really optimistic. The only positive about them was that the movers were very courteous and friendly. For the estimate, we sent our home listing pictures, a video and photos of all extra storage items not shown in the listing. They came back to us with a quote guaranteed for a 24ft truck, and if it doesn’t fit they send another for free. Moving day is here, and guess what? The truck doesn’t fit. No extra truck free of charge and the reason is because when we were asked about the number of boxes on the phone we estimated the box count wrong. Although during the estimation process the pictures and videos we sent showed all items that had to be moved (which eventually made it into the boxes) along with a description of which appliances were included or not. The result was: we had to pay them almost an extra $1000 to get us another smaller truck to move the rest of our stuff … 2 days later! So our move basically took 3 days between 2 provinces. Among the other negative points we experienced with them was: The arrived late on the morning of the first move, and it took way longer than expected because they only sent 2 men for a 3 men job (moving a 4 bedroom house), they arrived at the other house in the dark and they were obviously exhausted, so they left a ton of stuff in the garage for when they come back in 2 days. The second move: They came on time but with a huge truck, bigger than what we agreed on, took our stuff, made another move with empty portion left in the truck, and again arrived late and exhausted at our house in the dark and again stuff were left in the wrong place. They also didn’t wrap all furniture as agreed, our fridge was damaged during the move (discovered that a couple of weeks after when it stopped freezing) They damaged our beds by reassembling them incorrectly, forcing parts that didn’t fit together essentially breaking them (not a good practice for ikea beds. It’s been over a year and I still remember much of the details that made this such an awful experience. Stay away from them if you’re planning a big move.

We have engaged Move Ottawa for a move from Toronto to Ottawa and we had great experience. The office was very easy to work with. The price was competitive and the quote matched the final charges. The customer service was responsive, helpful, answered all questions and addressed our concerns in timely manner. Jeff, Pat and Omar were great to work with. They arrived right on time, were fast, professional, and took great care of our stuff. Jeff was doing very good job coordinating all the pieces, and his professionalism and calm approach reduced huge amount of stress. They were equally great during unload in Ottawa next day. They again arrived on time, handled work in professional, courteous and efficient manners and they followed COVID protocols. I can recommend this company without any hesitation.

Move Ottawa came to my rescue when the initial company I tried to go with for my long distance move kept pulling sneaky tricks and issued a different final quote shorty before the scheduled move. Move Ottawa gives you a fair and honest quote when you give them an accurate assessment of what is to be moved. I used them twice and paid the same price as what I was quoted. One other well-known company I tried to get a quote from was clearly trying to take advantage and have an overnight party at a hotel at my expense, given the ridiculousness of the quote. Move Ottawa is reliable.

Very Highly Recommended We wanted to move several items from Ottawa to Toronto. Mo gave us a very fair deal on a consolidated move, which was perfect for us. The whole team was extremely responsive and helpful. Mo responded to any questions almost instantly and when I wanted to add an additional item, he let me do so without additional charge. We were delighted with the company and highly recommend.
