V	Vi Luc on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice large room, comfortable bed, hot tub. But we could hear everything going on in the bathroom in the room above us. Doors slamming all morning. Breakfast buffet…..not as promised. We got there at 0930 and the buffet ends at 10 am. They were out of hot food, no sausage, no bacon, one hash brown left. All we could have was a bagel, yogurt and cereal. When another guest asked he was told there would be no more food coming out despite at least 5 or 7 people going without. And out of all but dark new coffee which was not to my liking. Especially disappointing they no longer have the waffle maker, that was half the draw. I might as well just stay in Banff since this hotel was so/so, considering the inflated price we paid.
A	Ami Batac on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stayed here a few weeks ago... really enjoyed the staff at the front desk. They knew their stuff and were SO nice and friendly. Great price and their beds were comfy as heck too. The ONLY reason for 4 stars is that the breakfast sandwiches they serve with the complimentary breakfast cannot be passable for food.

Take-out breakfast was as expected for this type of breakfast - perhaps after Covid regulations it will be served in person. Lovely spot close to skiing.
D	Dave Conlon on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The staff were very friendly and helpful at this comfortable hotel. The rooms were clean and comfortable. If you are spending the time in your room, you are in the wrong town. The hotel is just minutes from the ski hill, so it is a great base for ski days.
K	Keara Moore on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our stay at Mountaineer Lodge was amazing! We loved the takeaway breakfast boxes, the hot tub space, and the comfy beds! Our kids were over the moon to sleep on a bunkbed and the reading lights were their favourite. We loved all the space in the room and the extra features to keep our belongings organized. The location in town is prime as well! It was easy to get up to the lake to go skating and there are lots of places to adventure right on the property too. Thanks for hosting us!

The hot tub is large enough for our kids to swim around. Breakfast boxes were delicious and plentiful! We were stuffed and it covered a meal and snacks for the day for my kids. Location and parking are great. Staff were very friendly. New revocations are nice too!
S	Sunny Isles on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Perfect hotel when skiing in Lake Louise. Having the bus pick you up right from the front door is so convenient. The staff was very helpful, we particularly appreciated Margot's great customer service skills. Our room was large and modern with two queen beds(very comfortable). I read a few other reviews saying the rooms were dated; that was certainly not the case here. I believe those people chose the lower rate rooms in the main building. I recommend spending the extra $20 per night and getting a room in the new building. Breakfast was included which was very convenient. We got yoghurts, muffins, and breakfast sandwiches. My only suggestion to the hotel is to keep the English muffins frozen prior to preparation and if possible, please get a commercial hot holding unit to keep the English muffins warm and slightly moist. We also loved the hot tub for post skiing relaxation. Overall, the Mountaineer lodge is a great hotel.
E	Erinn Lemieux on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Mountaineer Lodge was a great place foe our family to stay while skiing/snowboarding at Lake Louise. Very close to the ski resort and even a free shuttle available which we used and it was very handy. The room was very comfortable. Well heated, clean, comfortable beds, modern updates (we were apparently in the newly renovated building). The hot tub was very nice, no pool but we had 2 adults and a teen so that was fine. A bit pricey but only because we went so close to Christmas. The staff were very friendly, professional, and efficient. Only downfall was the breakfast food, very dry and not a great quality, but it is complimentary so nothing lost there. All in all a great place to stay!
