Service is horrible , not sure why Peter is employed there ..never does anything just passes it off to George , and George never returns calls or gets back to you ... been waiting 3 months for a return phone call reguarding the batteries on my fathers scooter ,,, they just don't seem to care about customer service ... its to bad

Manager does not return calls. Three weeks and no apology when I went into the store. Never received item that was supposed to have been ordered.

I borrowed a wheelchair from this company for a day. The woman who served me was very nice, helpful and pleasant. I was completely satisfied and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Motion Specialties to anyone in need of their services!

I have used this company for a number of large purchases over the years and find their service to be hit and miss. As much as they provide me with what I needed I learnt that I would need to stay on top of them to get favourable results. For this reason I choose to use their competitors for smaller items that I know will be in stock rather than waiting for motion specialty to order and deliver.

I can not say enough good things about this company. They diffently out customer's first. We have had our sons wheel chair repair here. First class job done by people who know what they are doing. The front desk staff are both knowledgeable and friendly. Highly recommended for any repairs or purchases.

I needed to get mother's shower transfer chair fixed. My parents bought the chair at Durham Medical I took the chair there because that's where my father got it. The woman at the immediate counter asked my if I was returning a chair rental - not, "Can I help you?" When I explained that I needed the chair fixed she asked me what brand it was, and, that they don't sell that brand - I had to explain that it was purchased there - THEIR STICKER IS STILL ON IT. As she disappeared to look for the needed part, another person there asked me if I was there to return a rental. It took a while to come back to say they didn't have the necessary part. Offered no suggestions on what to do - NOT THE LEAST BIT HELPFUL. I left there disgusted with the place. Happy ending: I went to MOTION SPECIALTIES, where my mom got her walker, and they were able to recycle parts from another chair and fix it for me. Even more incredible, they did it for FREE! AND, this is not the first time they help fix something, free of charge. Hopefully, Karma works on both ends of this story....

I've been a client for a long time it was great service motion specialty would fix my moblity scooter I quick time about 2weeks. So I get a new scooter that isn't a year old and the batteries are not holding charge can't drive more then a blessed CK and it's dead. I phone on September 09 2021 to request new batteries I was ask to drive the scooter to the store but it won't go that far. I was told on September 09 2021 that they would send it off for approval. I called back on Oct 04 2021 I was told that the batteries r on n back order and then they tell me that they didn't have a approval from ODSP the tell me that they sent for approval on Sept 27 2021. I can barely walk a block with our my back and legs giving out. I need my scooter to get around . Not even a follow up call to say ur batteries r on back order. So how is it fair that the reason I have the scooter is to gett my daily hardship on me things done. This is such a hardship letter n me . It's not like I have ppl to drive me around me around on a fixed income and can't afford taxis.a simple follow up call would of been some help but to just be forgot about isn't right

Apparently they have so much business that they don't return calls/emails/drop ins for requests for repairs. Two weeks and not even 1 response from co-ordinator. I went with someone else for stairlift repair. Glad to hear Motion is doing so well though.
