Professional and curtious staff ALWAYS! I switched from my other vet because when I really needed them they couldn't help me because they would always be overbooked. Every time I called Morrisburg Animal Hospital, they did there very best to fit me in within a reasonable time and did it with a smile...great place through and through. Thank You

I have been taking my little Chihuahua, Chico, to Dr Hunt at this Clinic for some time. Being greeted by Melinda is always friendly. She makes every effort to book Chico in for his appointments at my desired times and, often squeezes in an emergency appointment, sooner than I would have expected. The pet care staff always cleans ears, trims nails professionally and with, love and care. Chico thoroughly enjoys their welcoming smiles and attention, to him. Dr Hunt is very informative, and allows me to make my own decisions. Thanks, everyone! See you, again.

I would have given 1 but their receptionist is the only good person here. I took my cat to this animal hospital a little later in his life than ideal. Because of this, I was insulted, demeaned and argued with from all of their “professionals” that I spoke to. They prescribed my cat anxiety medication before even seeing him and lied by saying they do this for all their patients - friends who take their pets there said this is not something they’ve ever heard of. Continued to tell me I don’t know anything about my own pet, made me feel guilty for not getting extra bloodwork done and for being so delayed in taking him to a vet (not thinking that maybe it was a factor of money or time), and when I was told about an issue my cat had that I was unaware of, the vet himself said “well I’m a professional so I know what I’m talking about.” When all I said was “oh my god I never noticed”. I was charged for medication I never consented to but they already gave it to him so I had no choice in the matter, and they just made me feel miserable while taking all of my money. I have already told several people of my horrendous experience and am already in the process of finding a better vet. One who actually cares about the pet AND the pet parent

I'm giving only 1 star cause they didn't want to check my cat when he has an urinary infection so I had to drive all the way to Ottawa Brockville was still open and the response was we have our own emergency animals I didn't like the answer sorry

Our pets go without their prescriptions for weeks at a time on a regular basis. They will change your appointments without telling you. They drug (or attempt to drug) every single animal that goes inside, not once realizing that the vet is making each and every pet anxious and it isn't the animals' personalities at all. What does that tell you about how they handle and care for your pets?

I had to fly my cat out all the way basically in Winnipeg and they were prompt as can be to get him in for his up to date shots. They also are great price and very friendly

Look, I hate giving bad reviews. MAH were very nice to me. They need to improve on some key points though. In particular, being concise and consistent with f/u, and being more careful with medication. My cat just died a horrific and tragic death. I'm to blame, but so is this hospital. My kitty was prescribed 10mg/day prednisolone for 14 days, among other things. I've come to learn that 2mg/day is the max dose for a cat. And you must taper the cat off slowly. There was no mention of tapering her off, just to give that huge dose then stop. By the 14th day, my cat was dead. I believe the prednisolone was to blame, but I'll never know for sure. Sometimes you give a big dose early then reduce and slowly taper off. But there was no mention of this. Through that time we went for two visits, with f/u only once. The 2nd visit was not confirmed with me until a couple days before. A 3rd visit I cancelled by email which was ignored. There was also weirdness with one of the prescriptions. Where I was just handed it with no explanation, and it technically didn't exist in the form prescribed. I'll never forgive myself for my mistakes. MAH needs to be more serious about the medication though. Make sure clients know the dangers. Make sure to follow up and that instructions are clear. Above all, not over prescribe meds.

Compassionate , professional and reasonable costs. They were there when we needed them when no other vet in Cornwall or area would help us with our very sick senior cat. Highly recommend them and the staff was super.
