A significant feature was recreating a family room and front entrance to a large mudroom. It was important that the custom cabinets complement the stone walls and be a welcoming as well as a functional space. We of course contacted Rocky and his company Morra Kitchens and Fine Cabinetry. As we expected the mudroom is simply beautiful, just perfect. Rocky has worked in our homes for over a decade renovating bathrooms and building custom cabinets. We have recommended Rocky with great pleasure and confidence to our family and friends. They have appreciated his excellent work, outstanding designs and professional, courteous approach to their renovations as much as we have. The mudroom that Rocky designed was tricky. The house is 140 years old so the walls are not flush and it involved working around old stone encased widows. Yet every detail is perfect. As well Rocky and Alex graciously travelled outside of Toronto to meet with us, design the mudroom and then stayed with us as they completed the project. TV cabinet (pop up TV so doesn't hide window) 3. under stairs pull out "wardrobe" for shoes. I had an idea as to what I wanted, how it would work. Rocky took my designs, worked with them so that it would all fit and work, made some really good suggestions to improve the design as well as fittings / hinges so that it all worked. He also custom painted them to match décor. All 3 pieces fitted perfectly, still working perfectly 1 year later. More than happy with outcome- exactly as I had planned.
