Awesome fast service. I came in 20 minutes before closing with an urgent need for some presentable clothes. (I know, I was that customer...) They were fast friendly, professional and knowledgeable and we wrapped it all up in 15 minutes. Could not have asked for better help. Great job.

Dona was so helpful today with my suit purchase. She was patient with me and really treated me well. She's a gem!

I would have given them a negative rating if available. I was there mid-March of this year and purchased 2 suits, vest and shoes. 2 items were on clearance. Total was about $850. At the cash I was told that I would receive a $50.00 gift certificate based on the value of my purchases, which would arrive some time in April. It never came and when I called the store today, I was told that I needed to spend another $100 to qualify for the certificate because the clearance merch did not count towards the points needed. I said to the person on the phone that this is not what I was told when i was purchasing the items. After being put on hold, i was told that the sales person who said this to me "was pretty new" and "misinformed". These people do not honour their word. Fraudulent or negligent misrepresentations that induce someone to purchase retail goods should not be tolerated. The benefit of any doubt in such situations should always be given to the customer! Stay away from this place or, if you do choose to shop here, don't believe anything you are told. Caveat emptor! Update: since writing the above I spoke with someone from "head office" who made it right and will send the $50 certificate. I certaintly appreciate the gesture, but this should have been handled at the store level based on the representation made when I purchased the suits and other items, instead of me having to waste my time and the time of another Moores employee. Better training at the store level is a definite must at this location.

Joanne is a lifesaver. I have a wedding to attend on saturday i completely forgot to get a suit its Thursday. When i walked in Joanne was quick to offer to help and even gave me hope while another store basically laughed at me. Ended up with an amazing outfit and getting alterations and picking it up on Friday. I am so thankful to have found somebody so helpful

If I could give 0, I would. Had an appointment at 1:30, and only at 2:30pm we were seen. I brought my whole party and they said this is just a consultation and I was supposed to be told that over the phone and yet, no one said anything about that. The person that was supposed to see us called in sick so they were delayed. I get an employee being sick, but why didn't you call to let us know that there was going to be a delay since he isn't there and we would've come later. Horrible service, don't bother going here. Go to another location or better yet, another store that would respect and appreciate your time and money.

Julianna did a fantastic job of measuring, advising and creating the perfect fitting suit and accessories for me. I purchased the suit at the Newmarket store and they would not provide alterations. When I took the suit to the Thornhill store for the alterations, Julianna re-fitted the suit, changed the jacket size and provided all the measurements for perfect alterations, all while making me feel like a valued customer. I feel like I received service the way it used to be decades ago. Great job! Thank you!

I cannot fathom how this location has positive reviews. I visited this location last week for a new suit. While perusing the suits I asked one of the staff about alteration of one of my suits purchased previously. I told her that I had gained weight as a result of inactivity during the pandemic and found the suit rather tight. She told me to bring the suit in so she could make a determination whether the required alterations could be done. I went by the store a couple of days later and waited as most of the staff were engaged. I noticed one man who worked in the store drifting around and not engaging me. I went up to him and explained that I had brought in the suit so as to determine whether enough material existed so that the pants and jacket could be let out. He told me that he could not do this but would ask one of the other staff to assist. He comes back and says do you have proof of dry cleaning? I state that this was not told me and even so, I wish to determine whether this suite is even eligible for tailoring before going to the expense of having it dry cleaned. His comment is sorry, we cannot assist unless it has been dry cleaned. I appreciate the dry cleaning request for the tailor but assessing the situation is quite a different matter. As an ex staff member of Brooks mens clothing in Yorkville (a summer position I held while in school), I can state that this policy is ridiculous! I immediately went to another retailer who happily assisted me without issue.
