★ ★ ★ ★ ★ CANNOT GET ENOUGH! It may look messy but the torched sushi is AMAZING! Spicy, sweet, savoury & fishy, all in the best way.
Whenever I make an order (usually weekly), it always arrives at the perfect temperature and I am rarely ever disappointed from this place.
I have hooked many people to the torched sushi here and this spot in general, which tells you something. Highly recommend!
**If you ever decide or are able to go into the restaurant in the future, the staff is super friendly and kind. The atmosphere is quite nice and welcoming. Used to love going there at the end of the night for cheap and delicious sushi (before the lockdowns).

We just got food from this place from uber eats and found a big piece of plastic in the middle one of our rolls… it looks like a cap of some sort and also broke a tooth biting into my roll… I will never get food from this place … I wouldn’t even give this place a one star…

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As others have said, the prices and portions are great. I was excited to try for the first time. However, the quality here is the downside. The salmon teriyaki was the most bland and worst texture I’ve ever had, couldn’t finish it… and I never leave food. My husband experienced food poisoning a few hours after eating dinner from here. I don't take negative reviews lightly, but I question the freshness of the ingredients here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Got Uber eats delivery twice. Sushi was delicious both times! Never disappointed.
They gave us spicy mayo sauce & brown sauce on the side without requesting it. Got the gold dragon, black dragon and fire torched sushi.
Will order again whenever I’m craving sushi.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Monkey sushi is a solid sushi spot just east of Korea Town on Bloor St. I ordered a salmon roll which was tasty though a bit pricey for the amount of food. The sushi was flavourful and wasabi was delicious.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I ordered on Uber Eats to try this sushi place that my friend recommended, and I wasn't disappointed. Very delicious and I loved their kani salad and volcano roll! I also got the shrimp tempura and it was so good! I recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I ordered a party tray and a few other sushi and rolls. Unfortunately, they didnt taste all too fresh… Perhaps it was because it was through delivery (foodhwy) but to be fair, it’s not the first time I ordered sushi via a delivery app.
Another thing was the rolls were not put together very tightly, meaning when we tried to pick up a piece, it would fall apart. All of us had a tough time grabbing the pieces and dipping it in the soy sauce.
All in all, I would maybe order from this place if it had a good special, but would not be my go to place.
