Up until today, I would recommend this place to all my friends for where to get the best burger. The first time I had the Nima I thought it was maybe in the top 3 burgers I had eaten, but I am extremely disappointed with the burger I just got from them, it was worse than a zinger from KFC.

Food was flavourful, burgers were juicy and no sign of pink, only downside was not as hot (temp) as I would like. Also ordered the Nima sandwich (chicken burger) which was great tasting with fresh ingredients wish it was slightly bigger. Kelewele (fried plantian) was seasoned too perfection. Definitely worth another visit my wait was under 10 minutes. I've read others waited much longer.

Have you ever had Ghanian burgers before? Aunt Lucy has been on my list for a while now and I finally got to check it out just before the end of February. I recently tried the Nima (Fried Chicken) Sandwich at $12.00. This is a boneless battered chicken sandwhich with garlic sauce, mango scotch bonnet hot sauce, on a potato roll. Surprisingly it was pretty mild, which is a great thing. You can always ask to add more heat if you need to but I thought this level was just right and maintained flavour while being easy on the stomach. This black owned business has a new home in the Annex neighbourhood, one of my favourite areas in the city. I really liked the ambience of the new location as it is located in the annex hotels and it looks great to lounge in on nights. Make sure to check it out if you are in the area. You can order direct or on quite a few delivery apps.

The nima sandwich is so tiny and tastes like a junior chicken burger from mcdonalds. At 15$ this is an absolute ripoff. There are better places like pg clucks or chen chens

I know it's covid but this was my first patio venture during the pandemic and I was expecting more of a restaurant service. We ordered Double burgers which were ok but we both agreed that the meat needed at least a little salt and pepper. They gave us the meal in a bag, like take it and go, the bag did not have utensils or a straw. A large part of the dining out experience is the service. Anyway I know it was covid and things are not 100, so all is forgiven and we plan on venturing back for the full experience. #blackowned

Got the Kumasi Burger Combo which consists of a 4oz beef patty, a slice of American cheese, onions, pickles, lettuce, tomato, Lucy's sauce, all on a potato bun with a side a fries and a can of pop. The beef patty was moist and had a nice beefy taste to it. Even though its 4oz it was a decent size sandwich. Fries were thick cut, crispy and had a nice hickory peppery taste to it. Portion size was generous with plenty enough to share with friends. A great spot for those that love burgers and fries.

Delivery was delayed due to traffic so I didn't have high hopes but WOW - the crispiest tastiest fried chicken I've ever had! Burger was amazing, garlic sauce for the fries was transcendent. So impressed, will be a regular order for me.

The Nima sandwich is juicy and tastes great. There were burnt bits on the sides of the chicken but overall it's one of the better chicken sandwiches in Toronto. The fries are amazing!!
