M	Maria Trujillo on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The staff if friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. However, the last time I was there they seemed understaffed. There was one staff person on the floor and 4 of us trying to get service. The staff person was focusing on one client, which is fine but she did not realize many customers were waiting. I think they need to hire more people to ensure that customers are taken care of faster.

Sometimes you'll have unsolicited condescending misinformed advice about the quantity & quality of food you're buying (even though you've had the recommendations of your pets vet)... Depends who's behind the cash. I no longer ask questions to the staff unless it's specific people I've had a good customer experience with.

They are well stocked and well organized with a great variety. Sure, if you head over to the Mondou on on Beaumont (which is 4 times the size, at least), you will probably find more larger items (cat scratching poles & trees, cat boxes, dog beds, etc.) and a few more specialty items (decorated dog cookies, for example), but you really can't go wrong in any of their stores. And I find the staff is always friendly and easygoing. The parking is a bit tricky there as the crowds from Marché Jean-Talon can make things tough, but there is free, 15-minute parking on Casgrain - check the hours posted.
