The staff was always friendly and helpful, and I found their pricing to be reasonable. My dog was always happy to come in for a treat or two when we walked by. A great storefront for Mont-Royal Ave!
R	Rita Ikhouane on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not very satisfied with customer service at this location. I had to return a closed bag of food that my dog can't eat anymore (his vet's recommendation). I was 4 days passed the 30day return policy, but I was buying other products... and was down to get a store credit. I did not ask for a refund. Plus, we are in the middle of a global pandemic. It's not like I can go to the store whenever I want. Trying to limit my movements here! Anyway, the customer service rep took forever to do a simple transaction, she kept changing her understanding of their ''policies''. Long story short, she waisted my time for a $20 bad of food, and when I said to cancel everything because it was too long, and that I didn't want to exchange anything anymore, only then she finally decided to look alive, and give me a store credit. Which means that all this time, she was just trying to make me buy more stuff to match the amount of the food bag. Pathetic! I have a dog for life... for sure I will need to get more food for him. I'm just not going to Mondou next time, because of this weak customer service!
S	Sarah R on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I don't know what happened, but the stores selection has become not only sparse but higher prices than I remember for standard products. For example, you can buy filters for fountains here but they're very rarely in stock at the two Mondou's I go to and are $6.99 - something that's $4.99 at Global Pets! The last two times I visited, they were also out of slow-feed bowls and catnip toys. The one benefit I've had with them is getting to use their quick-service name collar machine and an inventory sale they had during the summer where I got a collar for $2 (normally $9.99). Otherwise, the products are much higher than the competitors and don't have too much selection.
P	Pavel Janowitz on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It blows my mind, the extent of luxury and cost we afford our pets. When I think of the complex array of inequalities, I am baffled. This store is well laid out, quite small quite convenient. Products for animals range from house-brand to the still contentious raw food brands. Having a pet is a wonky luxury, this is a store for that. It is not cheap. Street parking is surprisingly good, given its location on one of the plateaux main arteries, on Mount Royal Ave.

R	Robert Hanks on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Okay, we all know Mondou is a chain, but not all Mondous are the same. The one on East Sherbrooke was like shopping at Walmart-staff couldn't care less. But this Mondou is very different. The staff are consistently pleasant and tell you when supplies will be in. If you select ship-to-store, they double check the order when you pick it up-literally they open the box and cross check the invoice to the contents. They even ask if you want the box or not. Very well run store.
