1) Cheaper. After paying high mutual fund fees for decades, it was exciting to learn about Modern Advisor's reasonable fees. Before joining, we used Modern Advisor's free analysis of our traditional mutual fund fees. We were dismayed to learn how many of our hard-earned dollars were going to fees. Over time, lower fees dramatically affect investment returns.
2) Easier. Modern Advisor invests in the entire stock market, a proven system. Most mutual funds are managed, which adds to their cost, while most do not earn a higher return than Modern Advisor. With Modern Advisor, you choose the risk level at which you are most comfortable, and Modern Advisor does the rest. No tinkering, reading financial documents, or trying to time the market. Instead, you can spend your time doing other things you value.
3) Informative. No need to wait for a quarterly report with Modern Advisor. You can immediately access your account information online in an easy-to-read format, every day, 24-7.
4) Available. Don't be misled by the term "robo-advisor." We have been amazed at how quickly our questions are answered by highly-qualified people. Don't be surprised if you hear from one of the founders of Modern Advisor.
5) Effective. Because of their low fees, wise selection of funds from established companies, and investment in the entire stock market, Modern Advisor has far surpassed our original goal of keeping up with inflation–at a level of risk that doesn't cause us to lose sleep.
We highly recommend Modern Advisor to anyone, from a young person who wants to slowly build their wealth over time, to those in or nearing retirement who want to preserve what they have already earned.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ "ModernAdvisor" for me is a breath of fresh air. The platform is simple to work with and it is not scary. I get to choose what kind of risk level I want to take and I have the ability to modify it. I also have direct access to advisors who can answer my questions if I have any. It speaks volumes about their system that as a promotion, they offered to invest their own money on my behalf, free of charge so I get to play with the tool for three month. I even get to keep my earning if I open an account after the trial period. Besides its primary function, the platform is quite entertaining. I check it everyday to see how much money I have made (or lost) and we kinda have a competition going on with our friends to see who made most money :) Of course my wife is in the lead, way ahead of everyone else since she got the smarts :) I will definitely open a real account and I recommend all of you to at least give the trial version a try. I bet you'll be hooked just like us.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ With ModernAdvisor, the fees are low. ETF portfolio they have is not bad. They use very common, standard low MER ETFs in their portfoio. Nothing can go wrong with that.
My main complaint about ModernAdvisor is that it takes a long time for them to invest your money after you deposit your money(maybe because I am having a small account?). Also, they hold 4% in my portfolio as cash, which seems to be really high in my opinion.
I have wealthbar account as well. Compared to wealthbar, which only holds 1% of my portfolio as cash, ModernAdvisor has put way too much as cash.
In my opinion, ModernAdvisor may not be the best robo advisor in the industry but it still gets things done if you are looking for a low fee Robo Advisor in Canada.

Modern Advisor platform is simple intuitive and reliable. Your hard earned money is in good hands. Give them your financial goals- long term or short term - and they invest your money for you for fraction of fee banks charge for and so far for me after 6 years also much better returns.
